WelbeHealth is a public benefit company founded in 2015 that offers comprehensive medical and social care to socioeconomically disadvantaged seniors in a way that allows them to continue living in the community as opposed to going into a nursing home. We have over 1,000 team members, having hired 300 in the last six months, and we're on pace to hire another 400 in the next year.
The Executive Director role will essentially function as the CEO of an individual clinic in a high-growth environment including owning P&L, guiding and developing our leadership team, working with finance to design and operate a budget, and working with marketing and enrollment to enroll new participants, along with other executive service.
**Essential Job Duties:**
+ Monitor care delivery quality and staff adherence to regulations, policies and procedures, quality improvement plan, and WelbeHealth best practices; and drive efforts to correct any identified concerns
+ Effectively develop and oversee the WelbeHealth management team
+ In collaboration with finance, develop, maintain, and operate within a program budget including hiring plans, to achieve operational goals
+ Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders such as community service providers, regulators, legislators, associations, etc.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local regulatory and licensing standards, including passing regulatory audits
+ Participate in strategic planning and broader initiatives to refine WelbeHealth operations best practices to share across other programs
**Job Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Social Welfare, Gerontology or relevant field, plus an additional three (3) years' experience in a managerial, administrative, or supervisor position in a social or health services program or agency; or Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Social Welfare, Gerontology or relevant field, plus an additional one (1) years' experience in a managerial, administrative, or supervisor position in a social or health services program or agency
+ Five (5) years' experience developing and guiding highly successful programs for vulnerable seniors
+ At least three (3) years' supervisory experience in a health or social services program, with experience directing a senior care program preferred
+ Track record of driving initiatives that drive improved patient experience
+ Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other leaders and care team members

**Family Services**
+ Maintain monthly proactive communication with resident's family members or responsible parties via calls, care plan meetings, letters from the Executive Director, etc.
+ Oversee the planning of an in-house family event monthly.
+ Encourage family involvement via Volunteer Programs.
+ Make self available to residents and their families.
+ Ensure implementation and maintenance of a family support program.
+ Ensure Family Service Meetings are happening regularly according to Sunrise policy.
+ Ensure Sunrise Wellness and Resident Care systems are implemented and followed.
**Business Development and Top Line Growth**
+ Demonstrate the ability to identify and build relationships within the local area that drives business into the community, as well as effectively price the product, thereby maximizing top-line revenue growth and achieving appropriate market position.
+ Spend one hour weekly with the Director of Sales (DOS), coaching as the DOS makes database contact calls.
+ Ensure that the DOS is using selling skills terminology in lead management and customer relations database and achieving benchmark sales effectiveness metrics, new leads, IPP's/SPP's, and sales.
+ Spend five minutes per day, performing post call reviews of DOS's in-person presentations.
+ Hold DOS accountable for the community's daily contact goal.
+ Ensure the community has an effective external business development strategy in place, with clear accountabilities assigned and the ability to articulate results and adjust plan accordingly to maximize referral leads and move-ins.
+ Hold DOS and other community leaders accountable for a predetermined number of quality visits and establishes appropriate referral sources, resulting in move-ins from referrals approaching company best practice standards.

+ **Growth and Development:**

**Position Purpose:**
The Executive Director will lead the startup, development, and operations of the PACE Organization (PO). Responsibilities include overseeing planning, administration, personnel, and service delivery across primary care, provider networks, 24-hour care, therapeutic services, home care, transportation, and quality assurance. The role ensures financial viability, growth, and strong business relationships while maintaining compliance with State and Federal regulations and advocating for PACE policies.
**Position Details:**
Trinity Health PACE programs offer continuous, quality care to the elderly, allowing them the independence of living at home. Seniors who qualify for nursing home care alternatively have the option to receive comprehensive care from an interdisciplinary team of experts, all focused on improving participants' health.
At our centers, seniors receive clinical and rehabilitation therapy and build relationships with doctors, nurses and fellow participants - all under one roof.
We serve together in the spirit of the Gospel as a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities.
This position will oversee two existing PACE programs, - PACE Baton Rouge and PACE Lafayette. The position will be housed in Baton Rouge with regular travel to Lafayette as needed.
**What you will do:**

+ Foster teamwork, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
+ Lead the development and management of annual budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
+ Oversee operational performance to ensure goals and financial targets are met.
+ Stay informed on relevant laws, regulations and policies relevant to business operations.
+ Manage staff through evaluation, mentorship, coaching, and discipline.
+ Lead the development of long-term goals, policies, and strategic initiatives.
+ Ensure proper staffing, training, and competencies for high-quality care.
+ Oversee recruitment, retention, and leadership development for a strong team.
+ Build strategic partnerships to support policy goals.
+ Develop alliances with key stakeholders to influence PACE policy.
+ Collaborate with leadership to implement evidence-based programs for quality and safety improvement.
+ Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
+ Lead and support system-wide initiatives for continuous improvement.
+ Regularly update senior leaders, medical staff, and stakeholders on key achievements and concerns.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
+ Five (5) years of experience in providing direct patient care or equivalent experience in related field.
+ Seven (7) years direct supervisory experience, preferably in progressive leadership roles.
+ Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements and understanding of the healthcare environment and applicable laws and regulations.
+ Previous PACE experience strongly preferred
+ At least one (1) year experience working with the frail elder population within home care, hospice, community care and/or long-term care management experience is strongly preferred.
+ Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
+ Expertise in system thinking, change leadership, shared governance, and financial management.
+ Superior collaboration, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to manage conflict, adapt to change, and stay customer focused Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
+ Position may require 10% travel within the Centers geographic region.
