Job Objective
Under a five-year contract, the Exercise Analyst will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands. The scope of the requirement includes professional services for MARCENT located aboard MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, which serves as a Component Command to U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM). Specifically, the Exercise Analyst will support the Plans and Policy Directorate (G-5) within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The G-5 assists and advises the COMUSMARCENT in joint-level and service-level planning, deliberate planning, crisis action planning, force deployment planning, Information Operations (IO), Special Technical Operations (STO)/Special Access Programs (SAP), command strategy and policy generation, doctrine review and analysis, Naval, command relationships, componency, security cooperation, CENTCOM exercises, Key Leader Engagement (KLE), operational assessments, and requirements development, validation, and prioritization.
Responsibilities
- Provide exercise analysis services that support MARCENT exercise design, planning, execution, and assessment.
- Assist in the management of the MARCENT Exercise Program
- Assist in the development and review of exercise objectives, concepts, Mission Essential Task Lists (METLs), training plans, budgets, force deployment data, tables of organization, and force protection plans to ensure they meet requirements identified by higher headquarters as well as comply with Joint Staff and Service doctrine
- Maintain MARCENT exercise-related web pages, historical files, and other required documentation
- Maintain MARCENT Joint Training Information Management Systems (JTIMS) data
- Plan and coordinate all requirements for exercise planning conferences; to include writing message traffic, developing presentations, and arranging for travel and hotel accommodations
- Organize and assist with exercise planning conferences and site surveys
- Compose weekly briefings to COMUSMARCENT, the MARCENT Staff, and external units
Education & Certification
- Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas.

+ Support After Action Reviews (AARs) and post-exercise reporting, including lessons learned, assessments of influence-related outcomes, and recommendations for future exercise design.

**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Military Studies, National Security, International Relations, or a related field

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Under the direction of a physician and/or manager, the Exercise Specialist prepares patients for and assists with scheduled testing and treatment.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
+ Prepare patients for diagnostic stress tests, including interviewing, obtaining informed consent, skin preparation for electrode placement, obtaining resting EKG and blood pressure.
+ Interpretation of resting, stress, and recovery EKGs.
+ Determination of appropriate diagnostic endpoint and instant discussion of test results with physician or midlevel, if necessary.
+ Immediate completion of necessary stress test documentation, including placement of patient stress tests in electronic medical record and communicating results to referral and providing physicians, as well as patients within a timely manner.
+ Basic understanding of internal pacemakers and internal cardiac defibrillators, with the ability to perform basic interrogation and programming.
+ Access and interpret pacemaker and ICD home monitoring reports.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead planning and execution phases of joint, interagency, and multinational exercises, incorporating OIE and influence-relevant threat scenarios.
+ Develop and manage Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC) events and Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG) activities, including planning conferences, exercise directives, and coordinating with joint and service components.
+ Integrate Information Forces and capabilities such as MISO, MILDEC, Cyber Operations, Electronic Warfare (EW), Operations Security (OPSEC), and Civil Affairs (CA) into exercise objectives and Master Scenario Event Lists (MSELs).
+ Coordinate across operational planning cells-including operations (J3), plans (J5), training and exercises (J7), and OIE (J39)-to ensure alignment with current operational priorities and contingency plans.
+ Develop exercise vignettes and scenario injects that test command decision-making and replicate adversary messaging, targeting, and influence tactics.
+ Ensure all activities comply with applicable Rules of Engagement (ROE), Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC), and classification/releasability guidelines.
+ Support After Action Reviews (AARs) and post-exercise reporting, including lessons learned, assessments of influence-related outcomes, and recommendations for future exercise design.
+ Coordinate with the Intelligence Community (IC), interagency stakeholders, and partner nations as appropriate to enhance realism and joint interoperability.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Military Studies, National Security, International Relations, or a related field
+ 8+ years of experience in joint planning, operations, or exercise design
+ Experience planning or executing exercises with Joint Planning Process (JPP), Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), and joint operations planning
+ Experience integrating Information Forces (MISO, MILDEC, cyber, EW, OPSEC, CA) into exercise scenarios or operational plans

This position is responsible for patient assessment, development of individualized exercise prescriptions, monitoring of exercise programs, contributing to program development and patient education for patients of the multi-phase cardiac rehabilitation and related community outreach primary/secondary prevention programs in the Section of Cardiology. The Exercise Physiologist coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. And is also involved in research /grant projects as they relate to exercise science, and primary and secondary prevention and provide assistance in the performance of metabolic exercise stress tests to a high-risk adult population in the Exercise Lab.
