To qualify for this position, you must:
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
 - Have a minimum of 1 year of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
 - Hold or be able to obtain a State of Oregon Electrical license (LMPJ) within 6 months of hire, with licensing fees paid by Weyerhaeuser.
 - Have at least 2 years of millwright experience.
 - Demonstrate the ability to program, repair, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Control units (PLCs) and Optimization Control Systems.
 - Have strong troubleshooting skills for 480v and low voltage electrical systems, both AC and DC.
 - Be able to troubleshoot, set up, and program variable speed drives.
 - Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
 - Exhibit logical problem-solving abilities and remain composed in challenging situations.
 - Show excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
 - Be willing to cross-train in additional technical areas to enhance skill sets.
 - Have experience working with a computerized maintenance system for managing processes, stores, and work orders.
 - Possess strong teamwork, cooperation, and problem-solving skills.
 - Be a dedicated, self-motivated team member capable of working independently.

Desired Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, electronics, lubrication, hydraulics, power transmission, mechanics, steam, welding, and pneumatics.
 - Working knowledge of NEC.
 - Familiarity with general electrical systems such as motor starters, lighting circuits, and power distribution equipment.
 - Experience with Allen Bradley PLC5 and/or Control Logix.
 - Proficient with hand and power tools.

Your Role Accountabilities
+ Responsible for oversight and operation of commercial building normal, life safety and emergency electrical systems and related components encompassing utility cabinets and transformers through switchboards, risers and distribution panels.
+ Oversee installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment associated with emergency power systems including diesel generators, paralleling switchgear breakers and controls, UPS systems/batteries, static switches and automatic transfer switches.
+ Operate, test, troubleshoot, repair, and bypass building fire alarm and suppression systems, as required for inspection and/or to support ongoing construction efforts.
+ Performs daily area checks, identifying and/or making repairs to lighting and electrical distribution components; identifies other trade deficiencies to Work Order Control.
+ Performs all other tasks assigned by Lead Electrician /Electrical Manager in a manner consistent with all applicable NFPA 70 safety guidelines in a 24/7/365 environment.
Qualifications & Experience
+ Minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible electrical experience required, preferably in a critical infrastructure environment.
+ High school diploma or equivalent and one of the following: Class I/Class II or IEC Journeymans license, completion of an accredited apprenticeship program and or two year certificate program at a vocational or technical training school and or a combination of any of the above with appropriate OJT or apprenticeship time and experience.
+ Critical System Experience in sequence and operation of; emergency diesel generators, UPS systems/batteries, static switches, fire suppression systems, paralleling switchgear, automatic transfer switches, and utility breakers and controls
+ General understanding of above and below ground utility services, transformers, and distribution switchgear.

Essential Functions
 
- Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
 - Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
 - Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
 - Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
 - Complete required documentation of repairs and service information
 - Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts
 - Calibrate equipment to provided specifications
 - Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
 - Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs
 
Work Environment
This job operates in various outdoor locations in any type of weather. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, andnoise is to be expected.

We are currently seeking an Electrician to work out of our Hobe Sound office.
- Bend pipe, pull wire and run conduit.
 - Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, conduits, controls, power distribution and other electrical devices and systems in a commercial setting.
 - Identify electrical requirements based on requirements, drawings and specifications.
 - Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.
 - Installation and maintenance of electrical service lines and branch circuits, lights and equipment
 - Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality
 - Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
 - Troubleshoot and repair 480 volt systems.
 - Troubleshoot 3 phase motors and replace.
 - Troubleshoot variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers.
 - Assemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and other electrical equipment.
 - Provides supervision and direction to subordinate personnel involved in work related to the repair and maintenance of electrical service and related.
 - Maintains accurate records and performs work related to this job description as required.
 - Thorough knowledge of National Electrical Code requirements, as well as thorough knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance.
 - Ability to diagnose electrical problems and effectuate corrective repairs.
 - Ability to operate lift or bucket type truck.
 - Dexterity to perform manual labor connected with his/her primary electrical duties.
 - CDL License preferred
