Developing strategy and executing tactics within key accounts in the Pulmonology therapeutic area to generate product utilization. **Business Office / Medicaid Specialist**
**Full-Time**
The position is responsible to support the Business Office in processing Medicaid Pending Applications, Redeterminations, Applied Income discrepancies and Resident Trust
Recommended Minimum Position Qualifications
+ 1 year experience in LTC Medicaid
+ The ability to handle multiple priorities and possess strong communication skills.
+ Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook,
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Process and assist with processing of Medicaid applications
+ Process and Track Medicaid Redetermination
+ Collect Applied Income
+ Resolve discrepancies in Applied Income
+ Scanning of all Medicaid documents in PCC
+ Attend weekly AR meeting with Administrator to review cases
+ Prepare and post daily deposits for Resident Trust Account
+ Other duties as directed by Business Office Manager
Our candidate should be a team player to work with the Business Office Manager and other facility team members to ensure the facility is successful in AR collections.

**Qualifications of Business Office Manager include:**
+ 3-5 years of billing and collections experience in long-term care including management or supervisory responsibilities
+ Thorough knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Pending, Applied Income, and Managed Care reimbursement regulations
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment
+ Excellent team building, leadership and communication skills
+ Deadline driven, detail-oriented individual
+ Proficiency in office software including Excel, Word, Outlook, and billing/eligibility software solutions (Point Click Care, Inovalon and RFMS)
