Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Human Resources department in Detroit, Michigan, US . This role is critical in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent to support the company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of recruitment strategies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building high-performing teams. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, networking events, referrals) to screening, interviewing, and extending offers. This involves partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, developing effective job descriptions, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process. You will also be involved in employer branding initiatives, data analysis of recruitment metrics, and ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. This position requires a keen eye for talent and the ability to foster strong relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders. A hybrid work model allows for flexibility while maintaining essential in-person collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various roles across the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidate qualifications.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment.
  • Maintain candidate data and track recruitment progress using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to enhance our client's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve hiring efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies.
  • Foster positive relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Participate in job fairs and networking events to build talent pipelines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Proven experience using various sourcing tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is essential.
  • Excellent interviewing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in developing employer branding strategies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills for reporting on recruitment data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and HR colleagues.
  • Must be comfortable working in a hybrid model from our Detroit, Michigan, US office.
