We are seeking an experience talent acquisition professional to join our team in Kansas City. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a technical recruiter as they will be responsible for all DT&A positions across North America. This role will also recruit across other business platforms as well for the US and Canada.
This role is required to be in the office 4 days a week/1 remote.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Recruits top talent for the region while supporting multiple client groups, locations and executives.
- Manage full cycle recruiting, solving recruitment challenges, strategizing and executing on innovative approaches to attract top talent to drive growth across the business.
- Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to build trust-based relationships, develop a deep understanding of their hiring requirements and priorities.
- Consult with Hiring Managers to identify job requirements, scope recruitment needs and implement effective sourcing strategies.
- Provide exceptional client service and candidate experiences throughout the full life cycle of recruiting.
- Build and maintain pipeline of candidates that are rich in diversity to meet both current and anticipated business needs.
- Collate market research and provide insight to Hiring Managers on talent pool sizing, competitor information and market challenges.
- Implement innovative hiring practices by using new methods or channels that allows the business to attract top talent.
- Support Talent Acquisition Manager and working collaboratively to implement region-wide talent acquisition projects.
- Drive the adoption of consistent recruiting, coaching Hiring Manger on interviewing and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience.

Experience
The following are the basic qualifications:
- 3-5 years of prior recruiting experience managing full life cycle recruiting, with 1-2 years recruiting for IT positions.
- Proven background in using innovative research & sourcing methods to hire for niche areas and ‘hard to fill’ roles.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, branding, effective candidate sourcing tools, and proficiency in ATS.
- Experienced in successfully navigating in a global organization, ideally within commodity trading, food production, or food supply chain business.
- Coach candidates and advise your Hiring Managers on creative sourcing strategies and recruitment industry best practices.

Working Conditions
Typical climate-controlled office environment. Extensions of regular working hours are necessary to complete interviews outside (before or after typical business day, to complete time-sensitive projects, attend training or to respond to emergencies.

No direct supervisory responsibilities.
Decision Making/Accountability
Assumes responsibility for the effective recruitment for assigned positions. Prioritizes own work schedule and adjusts it to accommodate unforeseen developments, especially to make progress on long-term complex projects. Verify candidate credentials (e.g., BACB certifications, licenses)
