Procurement & Sourcing
- Lead and oversee project procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective material acquisition.
- Assign procurement packages to buyers and manage the process from Request for Quotation (RFQ) to Purchase Order (PO) issuance.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard local and international suppliers based on quality, price, and technical capabilities.
- Drive continuous supplier assessment and qualification to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
Contract Negotiation & Vendor Management
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to achieve optimal commercial advantage.
- Manage and resolve engineering-related procurement challenges in collaboration with in-house engineers and the Project Management Team (PMT).
- Ensure all contracts and purchase orders align with project requirements, budget constraints, and industry best practices.
- Maintain sound supplier relationships to optimize supply chain efficiency and mitigate procurement risks.
Project & Logistics Coordination
- Monitor and expedite vendor deliveries to ensure on-time arrival of materials and prevent project delays.
- Oversee logistics, including international shipping, customs clearance, and vendor compliance with contractual obligations.
- Deploy in-house and third-party expeditors when necessary to ensure smooth execution of procurement schedules.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues such as non-conformance reports (NCRs) and quality deviations.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and submit detailed weekly procurement reports to clients, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Attend weekly client meetings to discuss procurement status, expediting plans, and project concerns.
- Maintain procurement documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 and company policies.
- Ensure adherence to procurement best practices, contract law, and financial regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, purchasing terms, and financial aspects of procurement.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Proven negotiation, supplier management, and cost-control skills.
- Experience with major EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects.
- Familiarity with global sourcing, logistics, and international trade regulations.
- Certification in CIPS, PMP, or equivalent procurement and project management credentials.

About the Role
The Commercial Insurance Placement Specialist – Energy Division serves as the liaison between our production teams and insurance carrier partners. You will be responsible for marketing new and renewal energy accounts, developing strong market strategies, and working alongside account teams to craft competitive, tailored insurance solutions designed to meet the unique risks of the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop marketing strategies for energy accounts in collaboration with production teams to secure optimal coverage and pricing.

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with underwriters and carrier partners specializing in energy risks.

- Support Account Executives with pre-underwriting analysis, quote comparisons, and presentation materials.

- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to Account Managers and Producers on energy market placement strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial insurance marketing or underwriting experience with a focus on energy accounts.
- Strong carrier relationships and negotiation skills, including with specialty energy underwriters.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience handling middle-market to large, complex commercial accounts in the energy sector.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to client service.
License Requirements
- Active General Lines Property & Casualty License (Texas).
- Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, or CRM preferred.

As a Lead Credit Officer - Vice President within the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Risk team, you will lead the credit origination and portfolio management of non-investment grade/leveraged companies covered by the Energy, Power and Renewables team, with an emphasis on Oil and Gas. You will lead the structuring, analysis and approval of new lending activities, facilitate regulatory monitoring and perform on-going portfolio monitoring. In each capacity, you will work in partnership with Investment Banking Coverage, Global Corporate Banking, Debt Capital Markets and many other product partners to meet the needs of clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify the key risk factors associated with clients, transactions and industry sub-sectors across an assigned portfolio and develop and articulate a dynamic, forward-looking risk assessment of client companies, transactions, competitive threats, industry and other factors
- Lead and/or participate in client due diligence by way of attending client, bank and other meetings to develop a better understanding of client companies, management teams and industry sectors, and
- Utilize financial models to incorporate the impact of forward-looking risk assessment on key value drivers, ultimately developing and recommending appropriate credit structures relative to risk assessment
- Apply corporate finance and accounting expertise to develop appropriate financing structures, and prepare and review credit approval materials, ensuring all credit risk policies are followed
- Review and negotiate legal documentation to ensure terms are appropriate and consistent with credit approval
- Ensure risk ratings are accurate and reflect a current forward-looking view of the client, while providing early identification and proactive management of deteriorating credits and other problem situations
- Stay current on all aspects of assigned clients, including industry trends, portfolio performance, compliance with covenants, current events, potential risks and opportunities
- Assist in on-going training and developing analysts and work closely with analysts and our middle office and data teams to ensure accuracy of credit system data
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 7 years of commercial/investment banking lending experience including extensive credit, structuring and marketing
- Experience in infrastructure finance or related fields with familiarity with green technology and energy transition sectors
- Possesses a solid understanding of financial products, corporate finance, financial modeling and market dynamics
- Advanced knowledge of financial statements and accounting
- Experience with documentation related to credit agreements
- Knowledge/experience of derivative products and documentation (including ISDA and CSA)

- MBA
