At Eye Associates of Pinellas, a Sight360 company, we are building the region's premier destination for comprehensive vision care. We are a team of over 130 optometrists, ophthalmologists, surgeons, opticians, and eye care professionals serving more than 100,000 patients across 15 different locations in the Greater Tampa Bay area. From routine eye exams and optical retail, to medical optometry, ophthalmology, and surgical procedures, our patients experience end-to-end personalized care and service.

We have recently opened several locations within Pinellas County to support our patient demand. And, we're looking for individuals that have an interest in working Saturdays only.

Requirements

The Eye Care Professional is responsible for interacting with customers on a daily basis to uncover needs for the patient's lifestyle and recommend specialized products based on those needs as well as assist patients in frame selection this includes taking measurements, fit, and adjust glasses, troubleshoot patient's vision complaints, and teach customers how to properly wear and care for their eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain patient's prescription from ophthalmologist or optometrist
  • Gather patient's information including vision and medical insurance information
  • Schedule, confirm and maintain appointments
  • Recommend frames, lenses and products that are suitable for the patient's style, face and specifications
  • Adjust and fit frames according to the prescription and patient's specifications, as well as to the patient's face.
  • Prepare and submit the order to the proper lab for manufacturing
  • Be able to use equipment such as lensometer, auto refractor, pupilometer, calipers and hand tools
  • Assist with frame inventory, contact lens inventory, marketing materials and office supplies
  • Teaching patients how to wear and care for both contact lenses and eyeglasses
  • Repairing or replacing broken frames
  • Administrative duties such as filing, following up on orders, following up with patients, answering phones, assisting the doctor with special orders and referrals
  • Multi-tasking to help patients in a timely manner
Position/Type/ Expected Hours of Work:

This is a part-time onsite position and core hours of work are Saturday - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Travel:

Travel between locations in Pinellas County may be required and scheduled at the discretion of the Optical Lead or designee.

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a high-performing **Vision Territory Manager (VTM)** to partner with independent and retail-affiliated Eye Care Practitioners (ECPs) within the designated territory. This role is responsible for driving growth by delivering patient- and practice-focused solutions through our industry-leading contact lens portfolio, including ULTRA, Biotrue ONEday, INFUSE, Bausch + Lomb INFUSE Multifocal, and our innovative e-commerce platform, B+L Opal. The VTM will support ECPs in achieving shared objectives by aligning our product offerings and digital solutions with the evolving needs of their patients and practices.
**Responsibilities**
+ Meet/exceed the territory sales quota and key execution metrics established by sales leadership for the given territory
+ Execute effective sales calls to ECPs within the given territory and move business forward by using marketing materials, programs and selling techniques to increase share of Bausch + Lomb contact lens prescriptions and lens care recommendations
+ Develop account business plans for high volume customers that create sustainable growth trajectories with consideration of investment and financial impact for both customer and Bausch + Lomb
+ Responsible for executing an effective call cycle plan and formulating a strategic territory business plan to develop new customers and accelerate growth with existing customers
+ Demonstrate technical proficiency and clinical knowledge of all Bausch + Lomb Vision Care products as well as competitive products
+ Utilize Salesforce.com CRM system to maintain accurate customer information and account progress continuum
+ Work alongside industry distributor partners to fulfill customer needs and align business strategies
+ Attend National and Regional sales meetings and trade shows as needed
+ Coordinate ECP educational meetings in key markets
+ Submit all administrative reports on a timely basis (call logging, expense reports, etc.)
+ Adhere to AdvaMed Guidelines
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelors degree in a related discipline preferred. A combination of professional certification (COT and/or OSA), combined with extensive ophthalmic experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
