The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the Residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by our caregivers. Monitor identified medical conditions, clinical behavior, nutritional status, personal hygiene, the resident's response to treatment and nursing care, and his/her daily activity level.
Administer medications, renewals and supplies.
Manage medical emergencies.
Document nursing services provided in the EMAR.
Work with Director of Health Services to develop community medical referral resources and maintain ongoing communication with those providers.
Communicate health care findings to the physician and alert others involved with the resident's care to changes in status.
Work with Social Services to coordinate necessary health-care services outside the facility
Serve as an advocate to assist the residents with problem resolution.
Education
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing Current NJ License is RN

At least 2 years' full-time experience with long -term care, assisted Living, home health or hospital setting (preferred)
