**What you'll do:**
+ Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level pilots, fostering their growth and helping them to enhance their skills.

**Qualifications**
+ Valid Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107 license) from the FAA and approval for Part 137 UAS operations with completion of training or a degree in aviation, engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on commercial experience with a variety of aircrafts.
+ If flying aircrafts over 55 pounds, must hold an FAA Class 2 or 3 medical certificate.
+ Minimum of 100 documented flight hours on relevant UAS types.
+ Ability to acquire applicable licenses as necessary per state requirements.
+ Experience utilizing FAA regulations and restrictions, including working with airspace, LAANC, geozones, FAA waivers, and unlocks.
+ Experience in flight mission planning and various execution software.
+ Extensive experience with various sensors for photography, videography,
+ Knowledge in principles, techniques and applications of unmanned aerial systems(UAS).
+ Demonstrated experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and mechanical issues.
+ Willing and able to travel, including on short notice, for emergency situations and disaster response.
+ Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.
+ Proficient in computer software and programs necessary to complete job duties.
**-Strong skills and capabilities in at least one of the following areas of expertise:**

The candidate will be required to complete the following certifications: Classroom (pass test on airspace and procedures) and Lab (perform as a Remote Pilot Operator on all positions).
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. The RPO plays the role of the pilot and other controllers in the Air Traffic Controller training simulator.
