The Opportunity
The supervisor for Lake County Housekeeping is responsible for establishing and enforcing the policies and procedures for the department whether they be in the technical, personnel or administrative areas. The position is responsible for the work of between 10 - 20 housekeeping employees and directly supervises the activities of group leaders. The supervisor must plan work activities, provide training, tools and equipment for the housekeepers to safely, effectively preform their functions. The supervisor also coordinates work activities with other trade groups, engineers, and production personnel to maximize the efforts of Lake County.
This position works out of Lake County and is second shift. You will work from 2:00 pm - 11:30 pm.
What You'll Work On
- Operating under the general guidance of the section manager, the duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Planning, organizing, staffing, training, directing, and controlling the housekeeping activities for Abbott Lake County.
- More specific duties include the developing goals, policies, procedures, and programs to produce results in accordance with the corporate objectives as well as the objectives of individual customer divisions and departments.
- The supervisor must understand and work successfully with customers who often have urgent and conflicting demands.
- The supervisor must also determine requirements for new and replacement tools, provide training and job instructions, know safety rules and regulations and be sure the housekeeping team are trained on safe work practices.
- This position requires the individual to seek out and stay current with new techniques, equipment and materials associated with the housekeeping field.
- The supervisor must provide expert technical support for green, yellow and red radioactive environments, Bio level 1,2, and 3 environments as well as hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
- The individual needs to be knowledgeable in entrance and exit procedures for controlled environments, cross contamination control procedures, microbial control procedures and aseptic cleaning techniques.
- This position requires the individual to assure that all regulatory requirements are met and maintained to include FDA, GMP, OSHA, INTC, ALAC and ISO requirements to allow manufacturing of pharmaceutical, chemical, and diagnostic products to market.
- The supervisor can also be called on to be a subject matter expert for housekeeping services when working with the FDA of other regulatory agencies.
- Frequently, in addition to his/her more typical responsibilities, the incumbent will act in other assigned roles such as team leader or work on special interdivisional project teams and/or task forces, provide temporary support for departmental projects and be a temporary backup fo their manager.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or the equivalent experience and formal post high school technical training such as executive housekeeping certification. Bachelor's degree or working toward the completion is preferred.
- 5 years of industrial housekeeping work experience and at least two years' experience as a leader.
- Knowledge of all areas of housekeeping, including manufacturing cleaning and attestation experience.
- 5 years involvement in housekeeping/facility management.
- Strong technical expertise to give direction to and gauge performance of the widely diverse technical services provided by this organization.

Job Description
Noblis is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Support Specialist, handling hazardous waste management, safety compliance, mail services, and general maintenance at the Pearl Harbor location in Hawaii.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Safety & Compliance**
+ Ensure compliance with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910) and Army Corps of Engineers requirements
+ Manage hazardous waste sites, documentation, and PPE distribution
+ Procure safety materials and maintain Emergency Locker Inventory
**Mail & Courier Services**
+ Serve as mail courier between facilities and Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam
+ Complete required annual training
**Facilities Maintenance**
+ Track repair requests, conduct fire extinguisher checks, and collect HVAC data
+ Configure spaces including parking areas, work spaces, and conference rooms
+ Perform daily inspections, process work orders, and manage recycling operations
+ Maintain building systems, restock supplies, and service outdoor areas
+ Handle flag duties and provide backup lighting during outages
**Vehicle Management**
+ Maintain government vehicle including fueling, cleaning, and scheduling service.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
+ Three (3) years of experience in facility maintenance.
+ Twelve (12) months of experience maintaining Hazardous Waste (HAZWASTE) accumulation sites.
+ Must posses a Secret Clearance.
+ Must be a US citizen.
+ Must possess a valid driver's license.
+ Physical capability for facilities tasks (lift/carry up to 50 lbs.)
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to complete required training

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. Under close supervision with detailed instructions, this position performs medium and large employee moves and equipment relocation services.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Assemble, relocate, and install office furniture and equipment.
+ Coordinate and perform medium to large-scale employee moves and equipment relocations.
+ Support daily conference room setups, office build-outs, and furniture disassembly tasks.
+ Handle loading and unloading of materials and equipment for transport.
+ Maintain accurate records and complete associated paperwork in a timely manner.
+ Ensure the workplace and warehouse are kept clean, organized, and safe.
+ Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as fueling and washing.
+ Follow established safety procedures and practices at all times.
+ Uphold strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

**Job Qualifications:**
+ Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ Must demonstrate a basic understanding of facilities maintenance principles and concepts.
+ Must have a working knowledge of and discretion in safely operating hand and power tools.
Must be customer focused and possess:
+ A valid California driver's license with a good driving record verified by the DMV;

+ Basic analytical ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice.
