Position Overview
The Facilities Support Staff at Red Door Life plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Facility Maintenance:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of common areas, restrooms, and workspaces in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Conduct minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks, or escalate issues to appropriate vendors.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify potential hazards or areas needing improvement.
- Operational Support:
- Set up and break down rooms for meetings, events, and programs.
- Manage inventory and restock supplies, including cleaning materials, office supplies, and equipment.
- Assist with the movement and organization of furniture, equipment, and materials as needed.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations and organizational policies.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report findings to the Facilities Manager.
- Vendor Coordination:
- Work with external contractors and service providers to ensure timely and efficient maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor and report on the quality of work provided by vendors.
- Client and Staff Interaction:
- Provide courteous and professional support to clients, staff, and visitors when addressing facility-related issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance and facility requests.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities management, custodial work, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical Requirements:

This Refrigeration Technician position is responsible for overseeing the safe operation, daily monitoring and maintenance of the plant utilities equipment including but not limited to: An ammonia refrigeration system, boilers, water treatment systems, cooling towers and pumps, NH3 and compressed air compressors, HVAC systems, air dryers, freezers, rapid roll-up doors, hot water generating equipment, potable and non-potable water systems, sanitary and storm water systems, chillers and distribution systems, structural upkeep of the building including roof. This position requires frequent interaction with various employees in the maintenance department as well as employees from other departments. This position provides assistance to the Maintenance Manager to ensure assets are managed in accordance with IIAR, ASHRE, ASME, EPA, OSHA and applicable state and local codes. Ability to demonstrate a high skill level of utility generating equipment listed above with a focus on ammonia (NH3) refrigeration experience and PSM compliance, a mechanical proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and operating a complete plant system.
Primary Activities

This key role provides strategic and tactical planning, along with hands-on operational support, for our private K-12 and Higher Education clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong technical guidance and leadership to our skilled maintenance personnel.
- Lead and direct account management teams, offering unique operational insights for integrated facilities services within the education sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders (internal and external), identifying improvement areas and opportunities to expand services at existing education accounts.
- Assume on-site leadership during short- or long-term absences of Budd Group school leadership.
- Foster and maintain effective client relationships while on-site.

- 3+ years of experience in budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, and CMMS technology.
- MUST be certified/licensed in HVAC or Electrical with hands-on experience.

- Maintain accurate records of payments, invoices, and other financial transactions for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Communication
- Liaise with vendors, employees, and other departments as needed to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments or invoices.
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
HS Diploma or equivalent; additional certification or education in administration or accounting is a plus
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in office administration, finance, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) or similar software tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
