The Facilities Technician will oversee daily tasks at hotels, ensuring maintenance work by outside vendors is completed correctly. A strong background in HVAC systems for large buildings, such as hotels, is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise maintenance work conducted by external vendors.
+ Use knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drywall, paint, etc., to oversee and approve contractors' work.
+ Discuss discrepancies with work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Troubleshoot issues for hotel guests, such as automatic shades or TVs not functioning properly.

**Essential Skills**

The Facility Technician I is responsible for supporting facility operations by performing essential tasks such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, filter press operation, and proper inventory warehousing. **Basic Qualifications:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older
+ High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required
+ Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
+ 3+ years of relevant facilities maintenance or technical support experience
+ Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
+ Proficiency with standard maintenance equipment such as power tools, multimeters and plumbing snakes
