Position Summary:
The Design Assistant supports the creation and development of compelling design and trend concepts aligned with the brand vision and responsive to evolving market demands. This role collaborates closely with the Design and Product Development teams to ensure timely execution of seasonal collections, from concept development to sample review and data management.
Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000

Qualifications for the Position
- A four-year college degree in Fashion Design or a closely related subject is preferred.
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in a Fashion Design position is required. This experience is preferably with a ladies' branded apparel company.
- The taste level and fashion sense to understand the Lilly Pulitzer customer and to design fashion merchandise which appeals to the Lilly customer.
- Genuine excitement for the Lilly Pulitzer concept. The Assistant Fashion Designer must share the vision for the merchandise, consistent with the positioning in the marketplace.
