Responsibilities
  • Monitor adherence to scope / contractual delivery and financial commitments in accordance with the TO PWS
  • Manages the scope of large-scale multi-site task orders with varying levels of complexity.
  • Monitors and reports on staffing levels in alignment with the project schedule.
  • Support and monitor 3rd party supplier contracts ensuring alignment to staffing and resource needs.
  • Monitors and analyzes forecast hours, project actuals and variances. Identifies root cause of large variances and works to remediate going forward.
  • Captures lessons learned with a focus on supporting continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations.
  • Manages the creation and updates of contractual deliverables by coordinating with subject matter experts and content owners, ensuring deliverables are high-quality, complete and acceptable to the client.
  • Provides direction and mentoring to delivery teams as well as fellow team members.
  • Initiate and gather details for Work at Risk Approvals.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues through coordination with the delivery team.
  • Monitor the Integrated Master Schedule for updates to identify potential delays or lack of progress including follow-ups with the delivery team.
  • Support Monthly Performance Management meetings with the client.
  • Maintain strong client relationships with the delivery team and VA PM.
  • Support internal Project Management Reviews (PMRs) and Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) for assigned task order(s).
Qualifications
  • A Bachelors degree and/or 8-10 years of experience relevant to this position.
  • Prior project team leadership or management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix management environment.
  • Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
  • Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus.
  • Selling skills preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • US Citizenship is required with an ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
