**Job Description**
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Reading of drawings/blueprints, production documentation, complete documentation, maintain high quality workmanship and organizational habits
+ Preparation and inspection of components for assembly; cleaning, part verification and fit-checks, grit blasting
+ Cutting, stripping, cleaning, inspection and handling of fiber optic cables in preparation for termination
+ Terminations of Fiber Optic contacts involving various tools, epoxy procedures, crimping, handling and inspection
+ Polishing techniques and methods for Fiber Optic contacts, polishing papers, sequence, handling, inspection
+ Knowledge and completion of optical testing including proper use of test jumpers, insertion loss and return loss equipment and documenting measurements
+ Oral/Written Communication - Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Records data
**Education and Experience:**
+ High School diploma, or equivalent
+ Ability to apply common sense in performing job
+ Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
+ Ability to use basic high school math skills
+ 2-3 years complex cable assembly experience

+ Support process engineers in developing and validating new production processes
+ Run feasibility tests and qualify production equipment
+ Collaborate on brainstorming and design reviews for new processes with the engineering team

Our salary ranges take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business requirements. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a proven track record of successful performance. The expected salary range for this position is $63,800 - $78,200.
You will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company's Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
