As a Fiberglass Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless creation and finishing of boat hulls, decks, and small parts. Your expertise in fiberglass finishing and repair will be vital in delivering high-quality products using a variety of tools and techniques.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts using spray guns, buffers, grinders, and other specialty tools.
+ Perform parts inspection with a thorough understanding of fiberglass finishing and basic use of abrasives.
+ Follow specific job instructions and provide verbal or written updates on part completion.
+ Comply with all safety and quality standards, including chemical handling and the use of personal protective equipment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in handling and applying solvents, paints, pastes, putty, and wax with proper disposal.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.

**Work Environment and Shift**
The work environment is on a shop floor, which is non-climate controlled and experiences temperature fluctuations. Expect exposure to high temperatures, humidity, and noise levels that are moderate with occasional spikes. Safety glasses and steel toe boots are required, along with other personal protective equipment. You will frequently encounter moving mechanical parts, resins, fiberglass dust, and other chemicals.

A Fiberglass Finisher is a key player in troubleshooting any flaws that may happen during the creation of hulls. They will deliver a flawless finished product.
Position Overview:

**Description:** This occupation requires the planning, task sequencing to produce and construct a variety of Fiberglass and thermal plastic tools for production. The occupation also needs to have a working knowledge of fabrication materials such as: epoxy resins, fiberglass material, plaster, metal, and other thermal plastic materials. Be able to assist in the development and product improvements of tooling applications.
Must be able to work any Shift.
**Basic Qualifications:**
Experience working with fiberglass lay-up.
Experience with hand tools such as, precision measuring instruments, grinders, drill motors, and carbide cutters.
Experience with operating machining equipment such as Lathes and Milling Machines.
Experience with reading Sketches and Blueprints.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
**Desired Skills:**
Working experience in Jig & Fixture, General Machining, the use of Laser Tracker techniques (Leica or Faro), White Light, and Spatial Analyzer Software (S/A) exp. preferred.

**Job Title:** Fiberglass Mold Infusion Operator
**Location:** Edgewater, FL
**Pay Range: $17.00-$24.00 hourly**
**Shift:** Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3:30 pm and some 1/2 days on Fridays.
**What's the Job?**
+ Inspect, clean, assemble, and prepare molds for boat parts based on production schedules and technical instructions.
+ Accurately measure materials and parts to ensure quality standards and minimize waste.
+ Install structural and supportive components into molds using hand and air tools.
+ Mix catalysts into resins and saturate cloth and mats with the mixture.
+ Install vacuum feed lines and equipment, and bag molds for infusion processes.
**What's Needed?**

+ Two or more years of experience in infusing fiberglass parts in a manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Experience in fiberglass boat manufacturing is advantageous.

Job Description:
Allegiance Staffing is hiring Dry Machine Operators for a manufacturing client in the textile industry. This is a full-time, hands-on role working with fiberglass materials. Please note that long sleeves are required due to the nature of the material.

We are looking for candidates with at least 4 years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment. Textile experience is a plus.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines following production specifications using fiberglass and other raw materials
  • Monitor production closely to ensure consistent quality
  • Detect and correct minor machine issues, report major malfunctions
  • Package finished goods and complete production documentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Communicate clearly during shift changes to ensure smooth handovers



Requirements:

  • Must have 4 years of machine operator experience in manufacturing
  • Textile industry experience is a plus
  • Comfortable working with fiberglass (must wear long sleeves)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Able to train on the 1st shift for a month or two is required
