**OVERVIEW:** The FLIK Internship Program is a paid program that gives culinary and/or hospitality students the opportunity to work in a dynamic and inspirational food service operation. Working closely with hospitality mentors, FLIK interns have an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes at a leading food service&hospitality organization. Fifty years ago, FLIK was launched by Chef Rudi Flik and Julie Flik. Their values of culinary authenticity, people first, sustainability, wellness, and leadership still guide us. We use fresh, local and seasonal ingredients to create memorable culinary experiences.
**FLIK CULINARY INTERNS WILL:**
+ Prepare menu items across all kitchen stations.
+ Rotate through various stations: pizza/pasta, deli, salad bar, grill, and international cuisine.
+ Engage with guests and tailor plates to their dietary needs.
+ Review culinary and front-of-house standards.
+ Learn about wellness and sustainability initiatives.
+ Adhere to "platinum service" customer service standards.
+ Consistently practice safety and sanitation protocols.
+ Assist with catering events, including setup and execution.
+ Develop professional relationships and enhance interpersonal skills.
Interns should expect to contribute individually and as a team member to support Culinary Services and work towards goals and objectives assigned by an experienced manager.
**FLIK HOSPITALITY INTERNS WILL:**
+ Rotate through front-of-house roles in the café, catering, and coffee shop.
+ Provide consistently friendly and courteous service to guests.
+ Support catering events by setting up, arranging buffet stations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing cleanup.
+ Assist with marketing tasks, including signage, seasonal decorations, and food holiday communications.
+ Adhere to "platinum service" customer service standards.
+ Review catering and front-of-house standards.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations.
Interns should expect to contribute individually and as a team member to support Food service/ Hospitality Services and work towards goals and objectives assigned by an experienced manager.
**FLIK Internship candidates must meet the criteria below to be eligible for the FLIK Internship Experience Program:**
1. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college or professional culinary and/or hospitality program and/or have 1 year of industry experience
2. Meet university's GPA requirement for Internship
3. Successful completion of sanitation standards training
4. Successful completion of relevant knife skills and/or Intro to Culinary/Hospitality coursework
5. Must be available to work 20 - 40 hours a week based on business needs&internship requirements
6. College credit is not required, but we will provide appropriate documentation if necessary.
**FLIK INTERNSHIP PROGRAM PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES:**
In addition to _daily_ _on-the-job FLIK training_ , Interns have the opportunity to participate in a variety of value-added program events via LMS/WebEx/Zoom/Teams during the internship experience which include:
+ Meetings with FLIK leadership/a mentor
+ Connection to subject matter experts including the diversity&inclusion, HR, marketing, safety&sanitation, wellness&sustainability and finance teams via Office Hours.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $141,200 to $58,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 169,500 to 294,300. UKG is looking for a self-motivated, proactive Senior Financial Analyst with a proven ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment to join our GBO Finance organization. This position provides financial support for the Global Business Organization ("GBO"), with a specialty focus on IT and Workplace Services. This position is responsible for planning, forecasting, and ongoing reporting and analysis. The role interacts closely with various individuals on the GBO Finance team and executive management. The successful candidate possesses a broad understanding of finance and accounting concepts along with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This person will work with all levels in the organization, and must be an excellent communicator, collaborator, and problem solver.
Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end planning and execution of various planning cycles throughout the year including annual budget and routine forecast updates
- Analyze monthly financial and operational results to understand their impact on the business and future forecasts
- Prepare monthly accruals and reclasses to support month end processes and ensure accurate financial results
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and GBO leadership to synthesize information and gain alignment across the organization
- Create and maintain internal reporting packages and presentations that illustrate a well-thought-out story that is backed by strong data points and metrics to facilitate business decision making
- Develop, maintain, and enhance detailed financial models that track and analyze financial results, key metrics and their respective impact on GBO's overall performance
- Prepare presentations for GBO forecast reviews
- Identify initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies
- Become an expert in TM1, D365, and other key systems within UKG to accelerate the forecast timeline, enhance reporting, and increase productivity within the team
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to think imaginatively and intuitively while quickly grasping and synthesizing new ideas
- Detail oriented and skilled to lead in formulating key assumptions to reflect business activities most accurately
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize deliverables
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to understand business requirements and track plan changes
- Capability to develop and understand financial models with key attention to detail
- Understanding of accounting principles to prepare month end entries and analyze financial results

- Advanced excel skills including strong data manipulation skills, PowerBI a plus

The pay range for this position is $78,800 to $105,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
