**The Role**
Responsible for providing 24x7x365 Tier III technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field operations for facilities critical infrastructure equipment such as (AC power distribution, buildings, grounding, fire systems, generators, Auto Transfer Switch (ATS), Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS), UPS battery strings, Direct Current (DC) power plants, DC plant batteries, Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Static Transfer Switch (STS) and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, including Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) units, chillers, dry coolers, condensers, pumps and building structural issues) to ensure operational integrity, improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
**Location**
Work location:This is an onsite position with locations listed below. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be willing/able to commute to the site in which they are based. This role may require on-call or emergency disaster recovery availability expectations.

**The Main Responsibilities**
- Provides Tier III support to field technicians and field management in stabilizing emergency situations and reducing the dependency on vendor support for issues that can be solved internally.
- Assists field technicians in reducing the dependency on vendor support for issues that can be solved internally.
- Participates as a subject matter expert on task forces or cross functional projects; advises departments on solutions for technical problems or barriers.
- Recommends solutions to increase network integrity and reliability through testing and evaluation.

**Required Qualifications**

The Defense Group at Leidos has an urgent need to fill a requirement for a Field Operations Engineer Sr. to perform maintenance and to support military operators of the system at multiple OCONUS locations. The Field Engineer will be required to assess each location and provide unique system configurations/solutions to ensure operability.
The system being deployed is new and there are no manuals or SOPs available, so the FE will be providing training and developing SOPs for the end users.
**Primary Responsibilities**
Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordination of product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.
This position will provide field engineering and technical support services in support of all tasks. This assignment is for a period of up to 6 weeks for CONUS training in Syracuse NY followed by two years OCONUS deployment. OCONUS deployment duration may be extended.
Program support may require an extended CONUS deployment for support of test events and demonstrations. This may require travel to additional locations in the CONUS, in addition to planned support of initial systems training in Syracuse. Given the indefiniteness of this requirement, actual CONUS requirements are not fully defined at this time.
While in theater, the FOE workweek shall be 12 hours per day, 7 days per week.
This position will provide technical support of the system in the field which will include but not be limited to installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and operator guidance and training. FOE's shall be a "subject matter expert" providing support to assigned Commanders in the following subject areas:
FOE's will effectively perform the following tasks:
+ Provide technical support of the system which will include, but not be limited to, troubleshooting, non-radio frequency (non-RF) repairs and testing of failed systems, operator and maintainer guidance, and training
+ Recommend requisition parts necessary for system repairs.
+ Contact OEM to report all failures and service actions performed so that pertinent information can be captured in the OEM's Customer Service Record (CSR) database.
+ Conduct the maximum amount of troubleshooting, fault isolation and repair to the LRU level including circuit card assembly for all fielded systems authorized at his/her level prior to making the decision to elevate to the next higher-level of maintenance
+ Take responsibility for preparing systems for operation, system software loading, operator training, and final system operational checks
+ Provide on-site technical support to military unit(s)
+ Achieve and maintain technical field-level logistics proficiency on the Silent Archer systems
+ Assist with the issue fielding of systems to U.S. military units to include initial acceptance of systems into theater, system software load, theater data programming, unit operator training, system installation, system verification operation validation, and the completion of all required documentation to include the following forms: DA 2062, DA 2404, DA 2407, DA 3161, DD 1149, and DD 1348-1A.
+ Assist in coordinating the packaging and OEM's Return Material Authorization process of non-mission capable systems or equipment to the next higher-level maintenance facility (i.e., SRCTec's CONUS Depot Facility in Syracuse, New York). The Government FRA will be the focal point for turn-in of damaged/failed systems.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of related experience or Master's Degree and 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Directly related military experience can offset degree requirements.
+ Expertise in the operation and maintenance of SRCTec s AN/TPQ-50 or LCMR/LSTAR system.
+ Technically support units in the form of operational system check-outs of repaired systems.
+ Experience performing program system updates for new threat software loads and for software upgrades.
+ Active DoD SECRET security clearance or active within the last 24 months.
+ Must be able to pass a pre-deployment physical.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Engage Operations, IT, and Facilities leaders at customer sites to resolve platform issues that arise from time-to-time
  • Serve as a customer-facing representative of CENTEGIX, ensuring confidence and trust in our solutions.
  • Effectively engage with customers, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service. Build and maintain strong relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and operational success.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to communicate their value effectively. Confidently answer customer questions, provide solutions, and represent the company with knowledge and professionalism.
  • Ensure company assets are recovered from installers and returned in a timely manner.
  • Provide Partner training and management as needed to ensure the installer base is up to date on product development and capable of supporting the customer base
  • Partner with the Customer Success and Command Center teams to coordinate adjustments and provide a seamless support experience to the customer between remote and onsite activities
  • Capture and provide feedback about the CrisisAlert and ContactAlert platforms to the product development and product management teams, emphasizing reliability and enhancing the user experience
  • Utilize internal Centegix systems to manage customer related activities. Leverage systems to provide timely updates to internal customers in Customer Onboarding, Customer Success, and Command Center teams
  • Leverage the Installer Application to make changes to the CrisisAlert and ContactAlert platforms
  • Assist with change, add or routine maintenance questions and orders
  • Support training opportunities with customers to drive usage and adoption of CENTEGIX platforms and services, building confidence in platform use and long-term value
  • Engage administrators and end users, where possible, to generate feedback on the platform and verbatim to leverage in marketing activities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience; college degree preferred
  • 2+ years proven experience interfacing and interacting with customers, primarily onsite, with an emphasis on building trust and reliable support.
  • Second shift work required when supporting installers working after hours. Role is approximately 75% Daytime work, 25% evening shift.
  • Basic knowledge of technology and hand tools required. Understanding of IP and basic networking, wireless systems and protocols is a plus.
  • Travel required up to 50% of the time. Travel is primarily local/state, but regional/national travel may be required. Additionally, travel is aligned with business activity. During slow periods, travel is not required. During peak times, travel can be up to 75% for 4-6 weeks at a time. Adequate measures are taken to provide work/life balance, but flexibility is critical to the role
