As a Tax Data Analyst Level III, you will:
- Data Collection and Compilation: Gathering relevant financial data from various sources like client forms, internal systems, financial statements, and third-party reports. Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of this information for tax purposes.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential tax implications. This involves using analytical skills to assess balance sheets and tax forms to ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Tax Compliance: Assisting in the preparation of tax returns by providing accurate and well-organized data. Collaborating with tax professionals to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax laws
- Quality Assurance: Performing regular audits and reviews of tax data to maintain accuracy and integrity. Implementing data quality controls to minimize errors and discrepancies.
- Reporting: Generating comprehensive reports summarizing tax-related data analysis for internal stakeholders and communicating findings and insights clearly.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement in tax data management and implementing efficient solutions. Staying informed about changes in tax regulations and adjusting data processes accordingly.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required.
- 35-year experience in a tax analyst role with a focus on compliance and data reconciliation
- Relevant experience in data analysis, preferably in a tax or finance-related role, is expected.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency Microsoft Excel and Altreryx, required. Familiarity with Vertex tax software and SAP is desired. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting are highly valued, as is experience with ERP systems like SAP.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and interpreting financial data from five subsidiary companies operating across three different ERP systems. Data Consolidation & Reporting:

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the consolidation process.
Financial Analysis:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Provide insights into revenue trends, cost drivers, profitability, and operational efficiencies.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancements across the subsidiaries.
Forecasting & Budgeting:
- Collaborate with CFO, accounting teams and business leadership to develop detailed budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and track performance against financial plans, highlighting key variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Design and implement a rolling 13 week cash forecasting model.
ERP System Integration & Optimization:
- Understand and navigate multiple ERP systems to extract and reconcile financial data effectively.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance system integration and data-sharing processes.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for system upgrades or process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, including data warehouse and business intelligence tools and systems.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Build financial models to aid in financial decision making (Cap Ex., Acquisitions, etc.).
- Partner with leadership teams at both corporate and subsidiary levels to provide insights that drive financial and operational strategies.
- Provide financial support for M&A and strategic investment opportunities
- Present financial findings, trends, and recommendations to CFO & President in a clear and concise manner.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus, but not required.
- 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably with multi-entity or multinational organizations.
- Advanced Excel skills, experience with AI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) are preferred.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :
The hiring compensation range for this position is a base salary of $80,000-$120,000. - Responsible for analyzing financial position of company by maintaining and enhancing current forecasting models.
- Provide guidance to senior executive team and Board of Directors regarding the Company's financial performance and near-term financial outlook in context of internal and external factors impacting the Company
- Maintain and enhance forecasting models to improve accuracy and relevance, aligning closely with organizational goals
- Collaborate with Division Controllers and Commercial Planning teams to maintain forecast accuracy and drive performance toward Company goals and KPIs

- 3+ years experience in Corporate Finance, Accounting, Financial Services, or Consulting, including experience with advanced financial modeling and analysis

SUMMARY
The FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making for AMPP and its affiliates. Responsibilities include managing budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance reporting. The analyst works closely with management and serves as the primary contact across business units.
Reporting to the CFO, this role requires analytical skills, independence, and proactive problem-solving. The analyst partners with leadership to provide insights into revenue, expenses, bookings, and investment opportunities to support company strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Conduct complex financial analysis and reporting.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide insights.
- Support ROI evaluations and variance analysis.
- Assist in financial reviews and presentations.
- Refine budgeting processes annually.
- Provide forecasts and partner with sales for pipeline analysis.
- Manage ARR tracking and reporting.
- Develop financial models, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Monitor financial results and variances.
- Perform ad hoc analysis for leadership.
- Coordinate with business units and support financial reporting.
- Identify automation opportunities and system improvements.
- Ensure data accuracy and system integration.
- Oversee cash flow and working capital.
- Identify operational efficiencies and cost savings.
