- Develop methodologies for pricing complex financial instruments and derivatives.
- Ensure all models comply with internal policies and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., Basel III, CCAR).
- Prepare detailed documentation for model development, validation, and implementation.
- Present model findings and recommendations to senior management and risk committees.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantitative finance, econometrics, and risk management techniques.
- Mentor junior quantitative analysts and contribute to team development.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in risk modeling.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide quantitative support for various business initiatives.
- Communicate complex quantitative concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, risk management, or financial modeling within the financial services industry.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, econometrics, machine learning, and numerical methods.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or Java.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and derivatives.
- Experience with risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
