**About this role**
The Finance Leadership Program (FLP) is a 3-year, early career rotational program (every 12 months) designed to expose associates to Carrier's segments and finance functions at a New York Stock Exchange traded company with market-leading products and services utilized by customers worldwide.
The FLP builds upon formal education while providing an excellent opportunity to create a strong network and join a culture that values ethics, the environment, and financial performance. FLP associates develop analytical and communication skills while acquiring a greater appreciation for teamwork and leadership. The program includes collaboration with FLP's around the globe, as well as Carrier leadership programs across other functional areas, to develop skills and tools required for a successful career at Carrier.
**Key Responsibilities**
Rotations are designed to expose associates to multiple segments and functions which may include Controllers & Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Operations / Factory Finance, among other Finance functions based on business need. Rotation locations are updated annually and may include Florida, North Carolina, Indiana, or others. Relocation based on annual role assignment and travel for training events during the program is required and covered by the Company.
The program provides a continuing educational focus throughout the rotational experience which may include trainings, events, and various case studies. FLP associates receive mentoring from program alumni and executives. In addition to training provided within the program, associates are eligible to utilize the Employee Scholar Program and other exclusive Carrier benefits.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
+ GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.5 GPA
+ Must be geographically mobile and have the ability to relocate for rotations
+ Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
+ Willingness to travel 10%
+ To be eligible for the program, you must be a 2025 or 2026 graduate of the degree in the relevant field and start in the Leadership Program June 2026

Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities vary depending on current rotation and assigned projects(s) and may include:
- Prepare a cost benefit analysis to determine expected benefits of a new product or program
- Analyze profit and loss statements and recommend solutions to grow revenues and manage expenses
- Balance sheet management, due diligence, and process re-engineering
- Prepare expense and revenue forecasts and analyze trends and variances from plan and prior forecasts
- Work with a team conducting an audit and testing controls of a business process
- Evaluate business risks and opportunities to mitigate risk
- Assist with the creation of a cash flow spreadsheet for purposes of dividend planning
- Perform analysis of taxable income from investments, variance analysis and year over year trends
- Build and maintain financial models to drive critical initiatives. Worked with key partners from finance and the business to build documentation and present to leaders.
- Worked with teams across the Finance Business Unit to assist with implementing new software for the organization.
- Current Senior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics, or related field

**The Selection Process:**
Applications are open from August -November each year. Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will typically be contacted for an initial phone screen by the end of November. Candidates selected to move forward will be invited to participate in a virtual panel interview with an identified HR business partner and functional leaders. Successful candidates would move forward to an offer. Upon accepting your offer, you will collaborate with the Polaris Early Talent Team. Your graduation date will determine your start date, either in January or June. The Early Talent Team will guide you through the matching process and assist you in completing a Brand Slide. **DP Relocation Assistance:**
Polaris offers a relocation program through our mobility vendor for employees who qualify. Benefits include a lump sum payment, self-haul moving package, lease cancellation/duplicate housing reimbursement, and access to a relocation counselor. The counselor will explain available resources and assist in securing short-term housing. You will be responsible for daily transportation to and from the office.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or other related field with a graduation date between August 2025 and May 2026.
+ Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
+ Must be able to commit to working 40 hours per week starting on one of the following dates:

The counselor will explain available resources and assist in securing short-term housing. You will be responsible for daily transportation to and from the office.
