**The Opportunity**
Abbott's Core Diagnostic Division, located in our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL, has a new opening for a **Manager, Division Financial Planning & OEM.**
The Manager, Division Financial Planning & OEM, serves as a strategic finance leader responsible for driving the division's long-range planning process (OEM) and overseeing comprehensive financial planning and analysis activities for Cash Flow. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, data-driven insights that shape the division's strategic direction.
**What You'll Do:**

+ Lead the development, coordination, and delivery of the division's OEM (Organic Execution Model, a.k.a. Long-Range Financial Plan), ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market dynamics.

Purpose:
PRM Finance Manager to support Plastics and Regenerative Medicine business. This position takes the lead, with guidance from the PRM Finance Director, in managing the full P&L for Regen Med. The Finance Manager acts as a business partner and strategic thought leader in collaboration with the Marketing and Commercial teams. Primary responsibilities include modeling Sales to Distribution Margin, coordinating all planning cycles (Plan, LBE, LRP), and acting as financial planning lead for Regen Med (including GTN, royalties, and warranty). Overview
This position is responsible for corporate level budgeting and financial planning duties and will work in close coordination with PPL's corporate budgeting team. POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and interpreting financial data from five subsidiary companies operating across three different ERP systems. You will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights and ensuring accurate financial reporting and forecasting.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Data Consolidation & Reporting:

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial information from five subsidiary companies utilizing three distinct ERP systems.
  • Develop and maintain standardized financial reporting templates to streamline consolidation across multiple entities.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the consolidation process.

Financial Analysis:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Provide insights into revenue trends, cost drivers, profitability, and operational efficiencies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancements across the subsidiaries.

Forecasting & Budgeting:

  • Collaborate with CFO, accounting teams and business leadership to develop detailed budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor and track performance against financial plans, highlighting key variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Design and implement a rolling 13 week cash forecasting model.

ERP System Integration & Optimization:

  • Understand and navigate multiple ERP systems to extract and reconcile financial data effectively.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance system integration and data-sharing processes.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for system upgrades or process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, including data warehouse and business intelligence tools and systems.

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Build financial models to aid in financial decision making (Cap Ex., Acquisitions, etc.).
  • Partner with leadership teams at both corporate and subsidiary levels to provide insights that drive financial and operational strategies.
  • Provide financial support for M&A and strategic investment opportunities
  • Present financial findings, trends, and recommendations to CFO & President in a clear and concise manner.


WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus, but not required.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably with multi-entity or multinational organizations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, experience with AI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) are preferred.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :

The hiring compensation range for this position is a base salary of $80,000-$120,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, as well as internal equity and market considerations.

The Impact

The Financial Planning Strategy Consultant is the subject matter expert in applying new digital enhancements (on platforms such as eMoney, RightCapital and MoneyGuide) for Financial Planning client engagement to the WM Financial Planning Organization, Advisors, their staff and firm support roles. Liaison with WM Financial planning leaders and new technology workflows and enhancements including identifying key field and operations impacts and providing support to create and deliver associated training, marketing and communications to drive adoption and implementation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Performs work across multiple initiatives and processes, supporting or leading business initiatives.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert in financial planning and on business requirements, you will interface and collaborate with multiple business organizations and technology professionals

  • Work as the subject matter expert and business process owner to develop workflow, process and documentation to operationalize Financial Planning digital advisor and client capabilities

  • Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and financial planning engagement model

  • Manage and accountable for implementation of assigned business initiatives, from concept approval through delivery

  • Proactively researches and applies best practices in terms of solution design and recommendation taking business capabilities, cost, speed to market, innovation and other critical objectives into account

  • Analyzes current market trends to better understand how other companies/competitors use tools for client engagement and advisor experience to ensure MassMutual stays ahead of its competitors

  • Getting and applying feedback to Identify areas of improvement when engaging sales tools vendors

  • Planning and leading product releases and setting expectations for delivery

  • Ensures current sales tools platforms and features are aligned to Financial Planning Services Policy and regulation changes

  • Support WM Financial Planning management after initial strategy delivery to monitor and, collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to identify and successfully resolve issues and improvement to opportunities and communicate resolution

  • Partner with business sponsors and stakeholders to set objectives and goals; prioritize multiple activities and projects, and understand the company strategic objectives

  • Leverage expertise to lead problem resolution as issues arise with platforms and tools

  • Accountable for effectively leading and executing assigned business management responsibilities in the areas of advisor outreach, financial planning sales enablement to maximize WM Financial Planning resources, regulatory changes and general business updates, and changes and enhancements specific to the financial planning client experience

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 6+ years experience in the Financial Services industry

  • 3+ years' experience in financial planning or management of a financial planning sales tool

  • 5+ years’ experience managing development and delivery of business solutions

  • 3+ years’ experience presenting and influencing leadership and key stakeholders

  • Due to the nature of this position, as part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA

Ideal Qualifications

  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 at time of application

  • CFP in progress or willingness to obtain

  • Advanced Degree

  • Knowledge of financial planning software such as eMoney, RightCapital, MoneyGuide etc.

  • In depth knowledge of insurance products, distribution systems, and marketing concepts

  • Experience in multi-departments, enterprise-level initiatives.

  • Successfully managed projects that touch, cross and/or impact multiple organizational areas

  • Experience working with clients, advising on marketing/business performance, and influencing decisions with insights and measurement.

  • Ability to analyze datasets, identify actionable insights, and communicate findings via presentations and/or dashboards.

  • Ability to present simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.
