Key Responsibilities

  • Agile Delivery: Provide critical inputs to SI sprint planning in a Product Oriented Delivery (POD) based hybrid Agile methodology, ensuring features map correctly to user stories and epics.
  • Collaboration: Act as a critical bridge between internal partners, business stakeholders, and the System Integrator, ensuring the build accurately reflects the detailed design.
  • Configuration & Quality: Review and approve SI's build configurations, assist with necessary configurations, and ensure high-quality deliverables traceable to requirements.
  • Deployment & Support: Support the planning and execution of all test cycles (SIT/UAT), participate in cutovers, manage go-live events, and provide technical triage during post-implementation hypercare.
  • Risk Management: Proactively anticipate, raise, and mitigate technical risks and issues impacting project scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Conduct thorough knowledge transfer sessions for IT Operations and Support teams to ensure sustained operational continuity.
Required Skills and Attributes
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience delivering large-scale SAP Finance transformation programs in SAP S/4HANA. Recent experience with RISE in a private cloud environment utilizing SAP's Activate or a hybrid Agile methodology is highly desired.
  • Expert-level skill set and end-to-end process experience in SAP FI/CO/TR/PS, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Management Accounting, Close/Consolidations, Project Systems, and Cash Management.
  • Cross-functional knowledge in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) or Plant Maintenance (PM) is required.
  • Proven experience in SAP BTP and/or Cloud ABAP programming in S/4, with previous required experience programming RICEFW objects in SAP ECC.
Application & Analytics Knowledge
  • Implementation experience or functional knowledge of three or more Finance-related applications such as Blackline, OneSource Global Next, Open Text Vendor Invoice Management, Taulia, Power Plan, or Tagetik.
  • Working knowledge of SAP BW4HANA, Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a significant plus.
  • Familiarity with project documentation tools like SAP Cloud ALM and business process management tools like SAP Signavio.
Soft Skills & Education
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and proven ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical business audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, or a related field. SAP S/4HANA certification is welcome.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Solutions Lead for the end-to-end delivery of high quality SAP-enabled solutions in the Finance workstream, including core SAP S/4 HANA, MDG, satellite SAP applications such as BW4HANA, Datasphere, SAC, SAP certified applications such as Blackline, OneSource Global Next, Open Text Vendor Invoice Management, Taulia, Finance4U Regulatory Accounting & Reporting, and any remediations to non-SAP applications such as Power Plan, Tagetik, and UI Planner.
  • Provide inputs to System Integrator's (SI) sprint planning via Product Oriented Delivery (POD) based hybrid Agile methodology. Participate in sprints across concurrent workstreams to perform assigned tasks, map, and/or review features to user stories/epics. Answer technical questions in the development of user stories by SI and business partners.
  • Engage in detailed design activities, perform review, and provide feedback on System Integrator's documentation such as Functional/Technical Specifications (FSD/TSD), Business Configuration Document (BCD), Process Design Document (PDD), and Business Process Procedures (BPP).
  • Collaborate across multiple Finance project team members in PODs, System Integrator personnel, internal partners and third parties ensuring build reflects detailed design with high quality deliverables that can be traced to requirements.
  • Major role in technical architecture review through governance and gating processes by leading preparation of material exhibiting thought leadership and technical solutions capabilities.
  • Review SI's build configurations in SAP S/4 to match Business Configuration Document (BCD) and provide feedback and approval; assist with any necessary configurations and document them.
  • Provide materials for review of development objects (RICEFWs - Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) to Solutions Standardization Board (SSB) and ensure they meet standards and architecture principles in a cloud compliant S/4 HANA environment. Provide guidance on integration with new and existing applications.
  • Anticipate, raise, and/or work to mitigate technical risks and issues impacting scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Support planning and execution of various test cycles (SIT/UAT/Performance/Regression), mock cutover/conversions and deployment working with IT Operations teams.
  • Participate in go-live events, provide post-implementation hyper care by triaging issues daily
  • Conduct oral and written knowledge transfer to Support teams to enable sustained adoption and operational continuity post stabilization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Ten (10) or more years of experience delivering large-scale SAP Finance transformation programs in SAP S/4 HANA, preferably with more recent RISE in a private cloud environment utilizing SAP's Activate or any other hybrid Agile methodology.
  • Expert level skill set and experience in end-to-end Finance business processes supported by SAP FI/CO/TR/PS including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, management accounting, close and consolidations, allocations and overhead management, project systems, fixed asset accounting via Power Plan, orders and billing through cash management, financial planning & analysis, and reporting/analytics. Cross-functional knowledge in SAP Sales & Distribution and Materials Management or Plant Maintenance is required.
  • Implementation experience and/or functional knowledge of three or more Finance related applications viz. Blackline, Icertis, OneSource Global Next, Open Text Vendor Invoice Management, Power Plan, Taulia, Tagetik, UI Planner, Utegration Finance4U Regulatory Accounting & Reporting is desired.
  • Experience in SAP BTP and/or Cloud ABAP programming in S/4 and developing Fiori applications. Previous ABAP programming experience with RICEFW objects in SAP ECC required.
  • Working knowledge of SAP BW4HANA, Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other enterprise analytics tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with use of SAP Cloud ALM in developing project documentation such as Epics, User Stories, and Features and operational needs with job scheduling applications such as Redwood.
  • Exposure to SAP Signavio toolset for Business Process Management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to adapt in dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), capable of conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Finance/Accounting, or a related field; SAP S/4 HANA certification welcome.
DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Experience in utility, energy, or other asset-intensive industries.
  • Experience in Bluefield SAP implementations.
  • Local to southern California.

About the role

Do you get enjoyment and satisfaction from evaluating, designing, and improving systems? This position involves creating detailed plans for new systems and modifications within our existing one. We're on the lookout for a Senior System Analyst who will focus on Workday Finance. You will work closely with our technical team and be responsible for ensuring that our system is efficient, effective, and aligned with business objectives. What you'll be doing

As part of the Group Technology Team, you'll play a vital role in issue resolution, delivering change through user feedback, and testing new releases before they head into production. At all levels, colleagues will rely on attention to detail and customer first attitude. It's a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you'll mainly be involved with:

Issue Resolution:
  • Diagnose and resolve global platform issues reported by users, including login problems, content display errors, functional issues, and system errors.
  • Analyze and resolve issues within Service Level Agreements (SLAs), providing resolutions to end users to ensure their issues are resolved.
  • Document resolutions in ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with System Integrators (SI) for more complex, unresolvable in-house issues to provide a resolution.
Deliver Change:
  • Gather user feedback and suggestions to improve the user experience and identify opportunities for platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand and document requirements.
  • Work with Technical Project Managers (TPM) and Solution Architects to propose solutions that meet requirements and align with architecture and roadmap.
  • Develop, test, and ensure User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is performed and signed off. Deploy changes to production following Boldyn's change management policies, ensuring all appropriate sign-offs and documentation are complete.
  • Work with third-party System Integrators to deliver larger or more complex changes. Manage the delivery and operational reviews with third parties to ensure delivery and resolutions are within the plan and SLAs, building partnerships to deliver best value.
  • Build partnerships with third-party vendors to understand product roadmaps and plan upgrades in advance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and work with third-party partners to ensure platforms remain up-to-date, innovative, and meet customer requirements.
Test Releases:
  • Prepare and test upgrades and releases to ensure no issues with the release and that changes are reviewed and communicated as needed.
  • Coordinate with business leaders to develop and execute effective communication strategies, including release notes, announcements, and training to inform and educate users about new features and enhancements.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of user-friendly documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides to empower users to find solutions independently.

Summary of Job Description:

The Data Analyst position is responsible for supporting the company's overall data strategy by working with other business units to develop periodic reporting, metrics, and measurements to determine business success. This position helps drive best practice methodologies for analytics and modeling by optimizing existing models and creating new ones as needed. The Data Analyst works with cross-functional business teams and technology teams to design and implement analytics and reporting solutions that meet defined business needs and contribute to the Analytics Center of Excellence (COE).

Job Responsibilities:
  • Works with other business units to develop periodic and quarterly reporting, metrics and measurements, as well as ad-hoc reporting as needed. Partners with business unit analysts to develop analytical capabilities and new models to support business analysis
  • Primarily supports the Operations Finance team through reporting, data validation, and analysis, while also assisting in data requests, tool development, and ongoing report maintenance for the FP&A team
  • Creates and oversees Power BI data sources, designs and develops insightful dashboards and reports, and contributes to the overall user experience and visualization strategy
  • Converts data to actionable insights and leverages data visualization tools to effectively present these insights in various graphic formats
  • Conducts ad hoc reporting to support evolving business needs and data requests
  • Works closely with business partners to help identify opportunities to improve overall reporting and analytics capability

Qualifications - External

Your background and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics or related business field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience in data analysis, analytics, statistics, data science or related field, with two years of experience on large, complex data sets
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.


Pay Range: P2: $72,500- $101,500 per year
