Summary: Manage the billing process for all government, state, and third-party payers related to Burke's outpatient services. This role includes accurate submission of claims, insurance verification, follow-up on outstanding accounts, and performing account adjustments as needed to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. The position also requires close attention to detail and collaboration with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain compliance with payer requirements.

Requirements: 1-3 years' experience in outpatient government, state or third-party billing or any other medical billing required. High School Diploma or equivalent required.: Experience with Epic. Experience with Medicare outpatient claims preferred.

WORK PERFORMED :
  • Prepare and submit bills to government, state, and third-party carriers.
  • Prepare and submit itemized bills and statements for all self-pay balances.
  • Timely follow up on all third-party insurance claims.
  • Analyze aged self-pay balances for potential referral to collection agencies.
  • Verify payment postings and research potential errors to ensure accounts are credited properly.
  • Prepare and adjust accounts for potential refunds to third party payers or patients.
  • Initiate insurance and self-pay refunds as needed.
  • Verify insurance coverage and authorizations.
  • Respond to all insurance company and patient correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Review and refer ADRs (Additional Documentation Requests) to the appropriate departments and ensure timely submission of completed documents to Medicare.
  • Check Epic for claim errors and correct claims as necessary.
  • Collaborate with admissions/scheduling staff to ensure accurate patient information.
  • Prepare Financial responsibility letters as needed
  • Perform other assignments as specified by the Director, Assistant Director, Supervisor, or Team Leads of Patient Financial Services.
  • Practices Standard Precautions. Follows regulations, policies and guidelines on the prevention of infections; does not eat or drink in patient care areas.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information; abides by HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintains a professional image and follows Hospital's policy on uniforms; consistently wears hospital ID.

Day to Day
Our Enterprise Account Executives engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform. They build positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and c-suite decision makers within their patch, and become naturals at helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.
You will use your skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting.
  • Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts

+ 12+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles in a competitive market with a focus on growing consumption within accounts/territory, ideallu with a focus on organizations in the financial services sector.
+ Prior experience in Big Data, Consumption, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions.
+ Previous sales methodology training (i.e. MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.).
+ Prior experience in leading and executing a highly complex sales strategy to increase and drive revenue growth.
+ Consistent track record of success and history of overachieving and hitting quota attainment.
+ Ability to articulate, educate, and sell the business value to businesses of all sizes.
+ Experience developing and improving processes and managing change within an organization.
+ Exceptional skills in relationship-building, customer relations, and negotiation skills.
+ Open to Travel to customer locations as needed.
+ BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred.
