Position Overview Reporting to the Executive Director, the Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst plays a key part in financial planning, data analysis, and performance reporting to support strategic decision-making. The Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst will collaborate across departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and contribute to continuous process improvements. Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Develop and maintain annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans in alignment with practice goals. Analyze financial data to support strategic planning and operational decision-making. Conduct variance analysis comparing actual performance to budget, identifying trends and potential cost-saving opportunities. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Generate custom financial reports to evaluate service line profitability (e.g., therapy vs. testing). Ensure reports comply with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal accounting policies. Recommend and implement improvements to reporting tools and financial processes Healthcare Revenue Cycle Support Analyze billing trends, insurance reimbursements, and patient collections to identify revenue leakage or improvement opportunities. Operational Efficiency & Business Insights Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as clinician productivity, session volume, client retention, and appointment no-show rates. Assist in resource allocation planning, including staffing models and scheduling efficiency. Develop dashboards or visualizations for non-financial leadership to understand performance metrics. Cost Control & Profitability Monitor practice expenses, including rent, software subscriptions, clinical supplies, and employee benefits. Analyze return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives, technology tools, and facility expansions. Recommend cost reduction strategies without compromising quality of care. Compliance & Audit Support Support external audits and internal reviews by ensuring accurate documentation and financial transparency. Assist in compliance with healthcare regulations, and funding source reporting. Collaboration & Communication Partner with the Co-founders, Executive Director, Clinical Director, HR, and other departments to provide financial insight on decisions related to staffing, services, and patient experience. Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for clinical and administrative teams. Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts during leadership meetings. General Support: Provide assistance with administrative tasks and special projects as needed. Other duties as assigned. THE OPPORTUNITYThe Center is seeking an experienced Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join the Finance team to assist with the financial planning and budget management for the organization. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will support the director in managing the Center's Financial Planning & Analysis team with preparation of the organizational budget and reporting while adhering to strict grant management compliance. The candidate should be someone with experience working in the nonprofit financial field, has high energy and curiosity about the Center's work and a talent for translating financial concepts to non-financial staff. The candidate should have strong interpersonal communications skills, a strong aptitude for data, financial analysis, and technology.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Manage a portfolio of project grants, budgets, revenue, expenditures, and contract compliance;
- Supervise team of Budget Analysts;
- Assist with relationship management and reporting to government agencies, private funders, and other outside stakeholders;
- Provide financial review and approval of revenue and expense contracts;
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual close and identify adjusting journal entries as needed;
- Review and approval of vendor invoices, expense reports, and corporate card reconciliations;

Compensation:The compensation range for this position is $40,000 - 165,000. DIVISIONS AND JOB FUNCTIONS
Controllers play a key role in measuring and accurately reporting the profitability of the firm's complex products, services and businesses globally. Professionals work with each of the firm's businesses, gaining the expertise required to provide the critical analysis to ensure the internal and external financial information of the firm is accurate and that the firm meets the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated and public financial institution. Teams are responsible for profit and loss (P&L) reporting and analysis, independent valuation, capital analysis and financial reporting. Professionals in this function have an analytical mindset, exhibit intellectual curiosity and are from diverse academic backgrounds.
- Corporate Controllers is responsible for external and internal financial reporting for the firm and its subsidiaries, including the firm's earnings release and SEC reporting, daily internal management reporting, legal entity reporting, fund accounting for the firm's investment funds and the firm's compensation accounting functions. Across these functions, Corporate Controllers use their expertise to ensure the integrity of financial information and that the firm and its subsidiaries meet the reporting obligations of a public financial institution.
- Product Control is responsible for the integrity of the books and records for the firm and the firm's managed investment funds. Key control functions include profit and loss attribution and independent price valuation. Product Controllers partner with the business and provide expertise on accounting, valuation, capital, liquidity, reputational risk, and other regulatory considerations, which play a key role in the firm's business planning decisions around allocation of scarce financial resources.
- Regulatory Controllers is responsible for regulatory capital, reporting and policy globally. Key responsibilities include calculation of capital ratios, internal management reporting and oversight of the firm's capital planning and comprehensive capital analysis and review (CCAR) processes. The regulatory reporting team is responsible for the compliance and submission of regulatory filings to supervisory bodies worldwide, including related governance and advocacy efforts. Regulatory Policy participates in regulatory capital advocacy efforts and provides technical advice on new trades and existing regulation.
- Controllers Risk Governance Office (CRGO) is responsible for the dynamic identification, measurement and mitigation of firmwide financial reporting risks in support of regulatory mandates and corporate governance. CRGO also manages operational, technology, and other risks incumbent on the Controllers division.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Jersey City, New Jersey, United States-based position is $7000 - $115,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.

As Sr. Analyst II you will report directly to the Finance Director of the Diabetes Care business, and will be supporting the United States. You will be expected to provide financial, business and analytical support to the US team. You will also manage the month-end closing process for the U.S., ensuring compliance with corporate policies, regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles(overview statement).
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- prepare & review with management the monthly net revenue estimate, and monthly financial statements
- prepare & post journal entries, and prepare account analyses and reconciliations
- Prepare budgets, quarterly projections and the ASR for the U.S.
- prepare and submit budgets/projections into BPC
- support U.S. Commercial team in analyzing & forecasting revenue through standard gross profit and department spending
- Understand and provide analysis of the operating results for the U.S.
- Participate in the global S&OP process in conjunction with operations and marketing; attend U.S. demand consensus and supply review meetings to ensure alignment between demand, supply and financial projections
- Work closely with the team in the US to understand key revenue drivers, investment opportunities to drive revenue, cost reduction initiatives, budget/projection matters, etc.
- Provide support, guidance and ad-hoc analyses to the U.S. team as needed
- Identify and implement process optimization in the general accounting, financial reporting, and forecasting processes by researching and assessing established practices
- Assist in coordinating, testing and/or review of Sarbanes-Oxley controls
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 5+ years relevant finance experience with a focus on planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. Month-end close activities' experience preferred.
- A CPA, CA or other equivalent certifications, or working toward qualification desirable.
- Highly proficient in working with Microsoft Excel and reasonably proficient with other common applications such as MS Word and MS PowerPoint, and a proven understanding of SAP, Business Warehouse and BPC.
