Job Description
We're hiring a trailblazing Vice President of Financial Products to lead the design and launch of a unified financial experience for healthcare providers, sitting atop existing RCM systems and adjudication platforms. This role is about intelligently orchestrating reimbursement flows, and embedding financial services like real-time payments acceleration, patient financing, patient payments and working capital optimization within the provider ecosystem.
You will bridge healthcare and fintech with a platform-first approach - leveraging AI, financial services APIs, and scalable infrastructure to reimagine the way providers manage revenue, get paid, and serve their patients financially.
**What You'll Do:**
**Build the Unifying Financial Layer**
* Design products that integrate with RCM, EHR, and adjudication systems to surface consolidated financial insights for providers.
* Enable financial flows around pre-service estimation, post-adjudication transparency, and streamlined patient payments embedded within existing reimbursement infrastructure.
**Embed Smart Financial Services**
* Launch embedded finance tools like instant settlement, provider float, and dynamic risk-adjusted lending.
* Deploy AI-powered patient billing experiences, including pay-over-time, auto-adjusted payment plans, and upfront affordability assessments.
**Productize Intelligence, Not Just Interfaces**
* Layer AI-driven insights on top of provider data, from claims risk and payment timing predictions to denial avoidance strategies.
* Use LLMs and ML for structured data extraction, fraud detection, and proactive financial interventions.
**Lead Strategy, Execution & External Partnerships**
* Partner with Optum banks, fintechs, EMRs, and clearinghouses to stitch together a seamless payment ecosystem.
* Lead cross-functional pods of product managers, engineers, and data scientists to bring scalable, compliant solutions to life.
You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
