**Responsibilities:**
+ Support internal customer groups and controller in all finance and accounting matters including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking and control
+ Work with the functional leaders and other finance partners to build scalable financial processes and business metrics
+ Provide financial and business analysis to site leaders and business partners including cost-saving and process improvement recommendations
+ Assist in strategic operational planning process addressing identified risks and opportunities for business team
+ Write systems queries to gather finance data and perform data-mining and analysis using tools including MS Excel and SQL.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
+ 5+ years of relevant finance experience

**SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST - PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
The Sr. Financial Analyst has the lead day-to-day responsibility for managing and controlling O&M and capital costs. This role will support accurate planning, reporting and analysis of operations. This position entails increased scope and complexity including fleet wide special projects. Must be able to fulfill ad hoc requests from various internal and external sources to support decision-making and provide necessary insight to executives, managers, department heads and line personnel. Individual must be flexible, proactive and able to work with ambiguity. Individual must be able to commit to the time requirements of this position, which may demand extended hours as required.
**FINANCIAL ANALYST - PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
Actively participates in the accurate planning, reporting and analysis functions. This position will also be utilized to adequately fulfill ad hoc requests from various internal and external sources to support decision-making. This includes providing direct input and support to directors, department heads, and line personnel in assigned area.
**SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST - PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Provide financial analysis and reporting for management on major capital and O&M cost drivers. Work with personnel to control and manage costs. Forecast performance against goals, plans and budgets. Bring a financial perspective to daily operations. Prepare and review month-end, quarterly and full-year forecast/reports up to and including: executive reporting packages, monthly financial close packages, quarterly management meeting presentations
+ Lead each monthly financial closing (pre and post close work), providing all required reporting to corporate center and site management. Ensure proper accounting treatment is followed and monitor adherence to corporate policies and procedures. Prepare various periodic reports to communicate performance in areas such as contracted services, overtime and other.
+ Develop the long-range financial plan.
+ Review and process Capital and other Project Request proposals. Monitor and report on Project spend.
+ Perform cost reporting - planning & tracking
+ Perform periodic Ad-hoc reporting and analyses.
+ Work with Manger to develop and oversee the work product of more junior financial analysts in the group and provide training and guidance as required. Perform complex special projects at the request of Management.

+ Prepare the month-end, quarterly and full-year forecast/reports, including: reporting packages (Executives, Internal, other business units), monthly financial close package, monthly scorecard and financial performance indicators, quarterly management meeting presentation, Board of Directors meeting presentation, ensuring that capital and EBIT forecasts are properly reflected in planning tools. And working with financial system team to mitigate/resolve forecasting and planning concerns
+ Assist in preparation of various reports and data requests and answers ad-hoc requests for internal and external reporting customers. Routinely communicate actual performance compared to budget/plan/goals
+ Functioning as a member of Exelon finance Team with responsibilities for ensuring a financial perspective is brought to daily operations, proper classification (O&M vs Capital) and treatment is followed, and compliance with all managerial policies.

FINANCIAL ANALYST (L&MFA- ):
***This position is Hybrid and only candidates within commutable distance to Bowhead locations will be considered. ***
Bowhead seeks a Financial Analyst (FA) who will complete and assist in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, trending and analysis. The FA is responsible for creating, updating, and analyzing budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
**Responsibilities**
The FA will track project expenses, update spend plans and month end accruals as needed. The FA is also responsible for reporting, making recommendations, and analyzing project financial status on a monthly basis at a minimum; completing scheduled and ad hoc financial data calls for internal and external customers; and maintain compliance with company, contract, and federal/state applicable regulations and policies. They will interface with Program Management and Support Services in the execution of their duties on a regular basis. This position may assist in the preparation of proposals for new and existing delivery orders.
Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
+ Prepare cost estimates
+ Develop spend plans
+ Tracking actual obligations and expenditures versus planned using ERP and EDW
+ Update Cobra spend plans at least monthly, track financial commitments and expenditures, participate in month-end-close duties to ensure financial data is accurate and in compliance with GAAP
+ Compile financial data to provide to the Business Financial Manager to complete action items and data calls
+ May work with leadership within assigned unit for financial planning and analysis at higher level than stand along projects
+ Other duties as assigned to support Operational needs and goals
**Qualifications**

+ Five plus (5+) years professional finance or account experience
+ Bachelors degree from nationally accredited university in a related field such as Business, Management, Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Degrees in other fields will be considered with successfully completed coursework in business, finance/accounting fields. Can substitute Bachelors Degree with additional years of work experience and/or Associates Degree or applicable certifications.
+ Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Both desktop and O365 versions.
+ *ALL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO DEMONSTRATE EXCEL ABILITIES IF SELECTED FOR INTERVIEW.*
+ Intermediate to advanced level skills in basic computing skills including Windows-based systems and must be able to quickly and accurately perform data entry tasking in various software platforms.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
+ Understanding of various government contract types such as Costs Plus, Fixed Price, T&M. Understanding of basic accounting functions and regulations
+ Familiarity with Costpoint, Concur, Cobra, QlikView or similar systems
+ Active secret clearance highly preferred
+ Understanding of indirect rates drivers and ability to make recommendations to management on rate variance mitigation and management reserve/buffer
+ Experience with large, high employee count projects or new high employee & sub count projects
+ Leadership/Management experience or certifications. May be responsible for the training and/or mentorship of junior FAs
+ Minimum of two years working in the GovCon industry
Physical Demands:
+ Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
+ Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
+ Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
