The Lead **Technical Product Manager** for Wolters Kluwer's **Financial Statements** is responsible for translating vision and strategy for their product portfolio into software solutions in partnership with regional product line managers, other technical product managers, the user experience team, and the development team. They act as the bridge between internal and external stakeholders, Customers, sales, marketing implementation, training, support and development teams, ensuring concepts are tested, solutions meet user needs, and execution drives measurable business value.
**Essential Duties and responsibilities**
+ Develops a deep understanding of the product vision, target customer segments, revenue and profitability drivers and long-term priorities, viewing revenue and profitability impact as critical measure of success
+ Align product direction with senior leadership and stakeholders, clearly communicating trade-offs, priorities, and investment rationale.
+ Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (engineering, UX, marketing, sales, implementation, training, and support) to gather insights, align priorities, and ensure successful product development and launch execution.
+ Acts as the voice of the customer, engaging with user experience and development teams to validate and refine solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
+ Facilitates customer interactions, in partnership with user experience team, to understand their unmet needs and test concepts and solutions throughout the development process
+ Translates business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
+ Lead Agile development execution, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and review of completed work to ensure alignment with business goals.
+ Leads quarterly Agile planning processes and continuously deepens subject matter expertise to drive product improvements. Develops and maintains detailed product roadmaps, prioritizing features across multiple quarters.
+ Works with project managers and other technical product managers to manage dependencies, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.
+ Manage dependencies and risks across teams, ensuring continuous improvement and cross-functional alignment.
+ Monitor product performance, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to maximize business value and customer impact.
+ Facilitate customer interactions to understand pain points, conduct concept testing, and ensure solutions address real user needs.
+ Validates completed work against acceptance criteria, ensuring solutions are market-ready and deliver customer impact, iterating as needed
**Job Qualifications**
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience
**Experience:**
+ 7+ years of progressive product management experience, with at least 3+ years in a lead, senior, or principal product management role in B2B SaaS environments
+ Proven track record of successfully delivering AI-driven solutions to market (required)
+ Deep experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, including backlog ownership, quarterly planning, and cross-functional leadership
+ Experience in Tax & Accounting solutions or CPA firm environments is a plus, but proven product management and commercialization success is required

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in financial analysis, in leveraging financial systems, and conceptualizing new reports and presentations to explain trends and results. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Duties include:
Lead quarterly reporting process, including report generation and financial analysis of trends and variances vs. projections and prior periods.
Serve as key liaison between Global Business Services and Faculty Staff Housing for Section 117 reporting and housing loan portfolio management, respectively.
Build ad-hoc analysis and reports to understand various revenue and expenditure streams trends based on clinical activities, expendable surpluses, research expenditures, etc. as well as consideration of income, reserve reporting, and reserves analysis based on days cash on hand.
Partner with University Controller’s team for required analyses on financial trends and results
Perform highly analytical, complex finance and control functions; multi-dimensional and complex reconciliations and related analysis; prepare or review and approve complex transactions and higher level dollar value transactions.
Research, and synthesize data for broad areas; develop complex financial analyses, budget and forecasting scenarios, long-range planning, and analyses. Perform root-cause analysis and synthesis, draw conclusions, and propose solutions.
Develop complex financial reports and presentations, design and run ad hoc reports, and prepare or review complex transactions to support the stewardship of university resources. Provide consultation to senior leadership to interpret results.
Prioritize, identify, and resolve strategic and unit/department issues; recognize exceptions, recommend and develop resolutions and implement solution. Ensure effective and efficient delivery and integration of all financial services for area of responsibility.
Design an effective system of internal controls for area of responsibility utilizing strategic analysis of interrelationships of financial processes, policies, and procedures; implement and ensure compliance programs.
Lead multiple complex, high-visibility process innovation projects. Develop, champion and implement strategic initiatives with significant impact. Empower action, remove obstacles, enable constructive feedback and support from leaders, and reward and recognize progress and achievements.
Develop, assess, and continuously improve systems and processes to achieve greater efficiencies and improve internal controls. Design and provide training on new financial systems.

+ Research and analysis of new SEC reporting standards and guidance. Coordinate with accounting and technical accounting departments to research and implement new accounting standards and the related reporting and disclosure requirements.
+ Manage the preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements for the company and other consolidated information and reporting. Collaborate with the company's accounting groups, including North America, Europe and Asia, as well as Affiliates as required to integrate all financial results into the company's consolidated financial statements and address all related reporting requirements.
+ Manage the preparation of all consolidated management reports (Board Report, Flash); collaborate with Investor Relations on preparation of the company's Quarterly Earnings Releases and other investor information and presentations, including data reported on the company's web site.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance. MBA or Masters in Accounting preferred.
+ CPA Required.
+ 5+ years of relevant reporting and accounting related business experience, including Big 4 public accounting. Multinational public company, financial services, or leasing company experience a plus.
+ Knowledge and experience researching, interpreting, and applying SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP guidance required.
+ Management experience in a relevant role.
+ SOX and controls experience.
+ Understanding of foreign currency translation issues and international cash flow and project analysis.
+ Financial systems (ledger, consolidation, and reporting tools). SAP, BPC, and Workiva a plus.
+ General systems skills (Excel, Word, Power-point).

**Job Summary**
The Financial Reporting Accountant position will be responsible for supporting the financial reporting activities of Southern Power. The position will primarily have responsibility for the timely and accurate preparation of documents to support Southern Power's monthly variance analysis and internal reporting objectives, the quarterly Disclosure Controls and Procedures process, the quarterly form 10-Q, the annual report form 10-K, as well as the preparation of Southern Power's audited partnership financial statements. This position will work closely with accounting and other support groups within Southern Power and the Southern Company system, as well as with internal and external auditors. This is a hybrid position with 4 days per week reporting to the corporate office in Atlanta, GA.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Analyze general ledger data and trends to support the monthly reporting of year-over-year actual and actual to budget variances for presentation to management, as well as for subsequent reports submitted to Southern Financial Reporting
+ Assist in the preparation and review of the quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings for Southern Power
+ Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 controls, including compilation of control evidence
+ Support the financial audits of Southern Power and its subsidiaries, and provide accounting expertise in technical reporting matters to internal and external auditors

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for leading the Company's internal and external financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and disclosures. **ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES**
+ Leads key financial reporting initiatives, including key analyses to drive the month-end close process
+ Functions as main interface with external auditors pertaining to the annual audit and resolution of significant accounting issues and M&A
+ Works closely with Corporate Controller and Accounting Director on ad-hoc projects
+ Owns the cash flow forecasting process and oversees all treasury operations
+ Actively works with third party consultants for assistance in various accounting areas (e.g., valuation specialist, system implementation partners, sales tax, state and federal income tax)
+ Supports the research and conclusion on complex and judgmental accounting topics as well as the review of complex agreements
