The Black Tie Society of Washington, D.C. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring, elevating, and empowering underserved communities through strategic programming, civic engagement, cultural events, and economic opportunity. Our initiatives focus on mentorship, financial literacy, youth development, entrepreneurship, and legacy-building.
We are currently building our founding volunteer leadership team to activate bold, impactful programming across the region. If you're passionate, driven, organized, and ready to help make real change - we want you on the team.
Immediate Volunteer Leadership Openings
1. Operations Manager
Help us stay organized and efficient. Oversee daily logistics, coordinate departments, and support event implementation from concept to execution.
2. Marketing & Communications Manager
Lead branding, social media, email outreach, flyers, digital campaigns, and storytelling. Help shape the public face of our movement.
3. Fundraising & Development Coordinator
Help identify grant opportunities, write proposals, build donor relationships, and lead fundraising campaigns and sponsorship outreach.
4. Volunteer Coordinator
Recruit, schedule, and onboard volunteers for events and programming. Maintain morale and ensure smooth operations across all team efforts.
5. Finance & Budget Analyst
Oversee budgets for programs, events, and operations. Track income and expenses. Ensure we stay fiscally responsible and transparent.
6. Community & Program Outreach Lead
Be our boots-on-the-ground connection to schools, partners, churches, civic groups, and community leaders. Help expand our impact through collaboration.
