As a Fleet Coordinator, you are the backbone of daily vehicle readiness and shift coordination. Youll ensure that every vehicle is safe, clean and fully prepared for use at the start of each drivers shift.
A Day in the Life:
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the successful operation of their assigned location.
The pay for this position is $23.00/hr + quarterly incentives
What Youll Do:
- Conduct and verify pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Assign vehicles to drivers based on availability, condition, and operational needs
- Prepare and organize key tags and documentation so drivers can begin their shifts without delay
- Monitor vehicle status throughout the day to support smooth shift transitions and minimize downtime.
- Report any vehicle issues, inspection failures or driver safety scoring to the Supervisor for immediate resolution

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):
We are seeking a Full Time Fleet Coordinator to support the Missouri & Arkansas regional offices. This position will be located in Saint Louis Missouri. The Fleet Coordinator will provide customer service for Regional Fleet Management and assist with the management of fleet operation for the Region. Responsible for assisting with motor vehicle registrations, operational and organizational maintenance, vehicle emergency safety equipment, service and repair issues, use, and inventory management. Assist with ensuring that vehicles are maintained to maximum life expectancy and efficiency. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
The candidate must reside no more than 45 minutes from the St Louis chapter.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
- Assist as required with emergency situations that involve vehicle breakdowns and repairs of fleet assets.
- Vehicle maintenance and required inspections in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and ARC directives. Assist with the scheduling of vehicle maintenance and ensure accuracy of vehicle assignment, dates and times. Coordinate fleet repairs with Regional Departments and Districts and that work is completed in a timely manner. May renew vehicle insurance cards and ensure that vehicles requiring state emission tests are completed on time. Ensure that all vehicle decals and licensing remain current.
- Assist with vehicles as warranted in covering blood drives during emergency situations. Ensure that Mobile Unit vehicle assignments are adequate for blood drive coverage relative to out of service units.
- Ensure the accuracy of the fleet database.
- Assist with the periodic movement of vehicles within the region.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
- Education: High School or equivalent required.
- Must posses a valid drivers license .
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Public health or blood banking experience in a highly regulated setting preferred.
- Have a working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Skills & Abilities: Ability to work independently. Excellent organizational skills. Effective oral and written communication and interpretation skills. Good interpersonal skills to work with multiple levels of staff and management. General knowledge of computer programs. Must be able to periodically travel to move fleet, perform fleet inspections, or other fleet related tasks.
- Ability to work on a team.
- Travel: Must be able to drive throughout the Missouri & Arkansas region.

About the role
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our company's fleet of service vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on, high-execution role that is critical in positioning our fleet and overall terminal operation for success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicating quote rates and service capabilities
- Processing orders as they arrive
- Providing information on shipment status, anticipated service failures, new pick-up and delivery times, and alternative solutions if applicable
- Gathering feedback, identify trends, and bringing new ideas to improve the customer experience
- Entering time-sensitive order information accurately into computer systems
- Responding to questions and requests as quickly as possible, making every effort to exceed customer expectations
- Ensuring customer location and contact information is up to date and accurate in computer systems
- Performing other duties as requested
- High School Diploma or GED required
- College Degree preferred
- 1+ year trucking industry experience preferred
- Highly organized individual with great communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with heavy email/phone/messaging volume
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with Transportation Management Systems

Job Description
As a Fleet Coordinator, you are the backbone of daily vehicle readiness and shift coordination. You'll ensure that every vehicle is safe, clean and fully prepared for use at the start of each driver's shift.
**A Day in the Life:**
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the successful operation of their assigned location.
The pay for this position is $23.00/hr + quarterly incentives
**What You'll Do:**
+ Conduct and verify pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
+ Assign vehicles to drivers based on availability, condition, and operational needs
+ Prepare and organize key tags and documentation so drivers can begin their shifts without delay
+ Monitor vehicle status throughout the day to support smooth shift transitions and minimize downtime.
+ Report any vehicle issues, inspection failures or driver safety scoring to the Supervisor for immediate resolution

**Physical Requirements** :
+ Able to communicate effectively and follow directions from our management team
+ Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
