Qualifications

Join our team as a Fleet Support Specialist! In this role, you'll help keep our agency vehicles clean, safe, and ready to go. You'll work closely with the Fleet Services Manager and may assist in training staff on transportation procedures. You'll also interact with staff, vendors, and stakeholders to support daily operations and ensure a positive experience for everyone.

This is a safety-sensitive position that may involve driving and other tasks that impact the safety and reputation of the agency.

No experience necessary - we provide all the training you need!

Qualifications Required:
  • HS diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of two (2) years administrative or clerical experience.
  • Possess valid Arizona driver's license, with clean driving record, home telephone, and reliable transportation.
  • Proven organizational, communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Possess general knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to operate and maneuver cars and 7 to 15 passenger size vans, and wheelchair lift equipped vans.
  • Prior experience facilitating training to individuals and groups.
  • Must be computer literate, with proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to develop and manage spreadsheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Satisfactory completion of agency driver and safety course.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Fingerprint clearance card and pass a background check.

About the Role As a Fleet Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the intervention and deployment of our robots, including startups, shutdowns, and public road support. You will participate in vehicle repairs and work with skilled technicians to build knowledge skills and abilities around our vehicles and software.

About the Work
  • This is a "hands-on" job requiring onsite attendance
  • Ability to operate trucks with trailers to load/unload company assets on public roads
  • Support and sustain bot operations on public roads and private events
  • Perform sustaining tasks including fueling, charging, cleaning, and supply runs
  • Replace tires on robots and Fleet vehicles
  • Uphold Nuro safety standards while operating company vehicles

Job Description:
This requisition is contingent upon L3Harris the Aircraft Maintenance and Modification Services in Support of Presidential Helicopter contract.
The anticipated date of Contract Award is March 2025 with an anticipated start date of March 2025.
The location for the performance of this program is Patuxent River, MD. Employee must be located on site.
Responsible for developing, implementation and execution of quality assurance, inspection, and maintenance programs and procedures for corporate aircraft. Ensures that maintenance activities are in accordance with federal aviation regulations and company policies and procedures. May determine corrective actions needed to restore aircraft and their systems to established levels of performance and engineering standards.
Essential Functions:
+ Provides technical insight, review, and support to mechanics, aircrew, FST, as well as PMA-274 Maintenance Department on VH-92A aircraft.
+ Acts as a liaison between the HMX-1 maintainers and operators (aircrew) and PMA-274 Maintenance Department Managers to ensure a consistent communication flow.
+ Identifies opportunities to reduce costs and minimize out of service time.
+ Maintains a focus on supporting both line maintenance users, contract field teams (CFT) and FST with corrective maintenance requests and technical guidance.
+ Coordinates the sourcing of approved parts, design solutions, and readiness improvement initiatives taking into consideration availability, cost, and operational needs.
+ Provides technical insight, support, direction and authorization to mechanics and vendors completing the assignment, overhaul, repair and planned maintenance of the VH-92A, supporting military and contractor personnel performance is in accordance with all established procedures and VH-92 maintenance standards.
+ Provides support to mechanics and Contractor Field Teams in identification of repair procedures and troubleshooting.
+ Provides technical input in the development of specific PM checks for all maintenance actions.
+ Participates in the identification, monitoring and performance against established maintenance practices and instructions
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
+ Minimum of 10 years working specifically on S-92A or VH-92A aircraft/systems.
+ Demonstrated experience supporting IPTs and ITTs.
Additional Requirements:
+ Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance in accordance with the NISPOM codifying 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, NISPOM Rule.
+ Must be able to satisfy personnel security requirements for Yankee White access in accordance with the DoD Directive 5210.55 (Presidential Support Program) and DoD Instruction 5210.87 (Selection of DoD Military and Civilian Personnel and Contractor Employees for Assignment to Presidential Support Activities).
+ A government requisite pre-screening checklist will be requested from all applicants considered.
+ Must be able to travel. Work will be performed at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD, with occasional performance at Quantico and Anacostia, VA, and/or global sites for emergent requirements.

Position Description

As a Software Engineer , you will work closely with senior team members and government personnel to maintain and enhance the performance of . This role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and practical problem-solving in high-tempo operational settings.   • Fleet Operations Support:
  • Work alongside Navy operators to resolve issues and integrate new technologies with the GARC maritime autonomy platform.
  • Documentation & Communication:
Assist in generating and releasing technical, operational, and training documentation in line with BlackSea standards. Support Navy and government program office personnel with clear and actionable materials.
  • Configuration Management: Design and execute automated and manual processes to track changes and validate platform software configuration on multiple devices and systems.
  • Troubleshooting:
Assess performance of autonomous behaviors and think critically to identify and fix integration issues, resolve bugs, and recommend design improvements.
  • Collaboration:
Effectively communicate with government and industry stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to explain complex issue related to autonomy software.
  • Continuous learning:
Stay updated with evolving autonomy software technologies and government and industry trends. Advise on current capabilities, limitations and help make predictions for the future.
  • Event Participation:
  • Take part in training, integration, and RDTE (Research, Development, Test & Evaluation) events. Some travel is required to provide on-site support and training when exercises are non-local to San Diego.
Required Qualifications
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field is required.
  • Relevant internships or hands-on project experience in autonomy software or maritime systems is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software or computer engineering.
  • Skills:
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages including C++.
  • Experience working with DDS including RTI and UMAA on autonomous systems and maritime robotics.

**The Role**
The Director of Fleet Support is responsible for all phases of overhaul construction, test and redelivery of a Naval Nuclear Submarine. This position is responsible for the Safety, Quality, Schedule, Cost and Engagement of the construction and production teams supporting the program. The position operates in a fast paced environment where urgency and responsiveness are critical. This candidate should have demonstrated abilities to lead all aspects of oversight for scheduling, manning, progressing, materials, contracting and integration of this diverse and complex program. The preferred candidate will have solid communication skills and the ability to professionally represent the Program with the customers, such as NAVSEA, NRRO, SUPSHIP and Ships Force. Candidate should have the ability to collaborate and build teams in order to achieve project goals. Requires ability to maintain TLD radiological qualification to enter radiation areas. Ability to access the ship and vertical ladders greater than 25 feet is required. In addition, SUBSAFE re-entry controls experience and knowledge is preferred. Prefer prior construction, production and/or test leadership.
**Must Have**
NNS Apprentice graduate or Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of applicable technical experience OR Master's degree and 8 years relevant experience. A candidate must have a thorough understanding of construction, manufacturing processes, and operations.
