**Boeing Commercial Airplanes** is seeking a highly talented and motivated **Flight Deck Crew Operations Manager** (Level K) to join our team in **Everett, WA** .
**Position Overview:**
The Flight Deck Engineering team has an opening for a first level manager (K) for Flight Deck Crew Operations. The Crew Operations team is responsible for the flight crew interface for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. The team is made up of engineers, human factors specialists, and pilots who design, validate, test, and certify all aspects of the flight crew interface. This includes controls, displays, procedures, alerting, and the physical interfaces in the flight deck. Our expertise is in how the pilots operate the airplane, and what they need to be safe and efficient in executing the mission. We are a team who is passionate about aviation, operations, and have an intense interest in designing crew interfaces utilizing Human Factors best practices, for the benefits of flight crews all over the world.

**Position** **Responsibilities:**
+ Technical oversight and management of Flight Deck Crew Operations functional work.
+ Management of budget, schedule, and statement of work for team.
+ Communication of risks, issues, and technical/personnel coordination across Flight Deck Engineering, Airplane Systems and Airplane Programs.
+ Present to engineering, program, and enterprise leadership, as well as external customers, regulators and suppliers.
+ Develop, mentor and coach the engineering team.
+ Work with the Flight Deck Senior Leadership team in establishing and achieving program and organizational goals, strategies and objectives.
+ Collaborate with other Crew Operations managers both locally and globally in accomplishing the statement of work.
**Work Authorization:**
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett, WA.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, or human factors.
+ 4+ years of' experience in an engineering role
+ 3+ years of experience leading teams or projects.
+ Experience working in a team environment and communicating clearly with both internal and external customers.
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ Knowledge of flight operations or flight deck design
+ Ability and or demonstrated experience in managing both a local team, and geographically dispersed international teams
+ Pilots license is a plus.
+ Proven ability to lead with the Boeing Values
+ Demonstrated ability in team building, coaching, and employee development to enhance team performance and engagement.
+ Solid technical background with the ability to guide and mentor the team.

Job Qualifications
Qualifications:

Your United journey begins with the best Flight Attendant training in the industry! You will spend 6.5 weeks attending Initial Training in Houston, TX. Here you will learn United's safety and service standards. During training, you will be assigned your base in one of our seven hubs in Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Franciso, Washington Dulles, or one of our other flight attendant base locations (relocation funds not provided). Following the successful completion of training and after attending base orientation in your assigned location, you will be officially welcome as a full-time United employee.
