Description
Float Nurse
Affinity Health Center is a fast-paced, growing community health center focused on providing patient-centered care with compassion, dignity, and respect. We serve all people, regardless of income or insurance status. Affinity Health Center seeks a full-time nurse to join our amazing clinical team in providing care for those most vulnerable in our community. The Float Nurse will be responsible for direct patient care in the clinic as well as rotating for triaging incoming clinical calls, managing medication refills, reviewing lab results and following up with patients per standing orders, triaging walk-in patients per standing orders, and documenting information in the electronic health record. No weekends. Paid holidays off. Comprehensive benefits. Supportive environment. S.C. nurse license required. Experience preferred and hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
Pay Range: $28.00 - $36.00 (Based on experience and qualifications).

• Use health assessment data to support Plan of Care
• Triage calls and assist patient/primary caregiver with problem resolution. Counsel the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs
• Make visits for symptom management and support as needed
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
• Maintain current, accurate, detailed reports in accordance with policy
• May monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients' condition to the IDG
• Provide health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan
• Obtain and receive physician orders as required

Requirements
• Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Georgia.
• Current and continued CPR certification.
