Description: This job requires multi tasking and the ability to work well with others in the kitchen area. Such duties would include: sweeping, mopping, food safety & sanitation. Also, working the grill, fryers and prep line. The grills require making meat, eggs etc. The fryers require cooking chicken products. Responsibilities
+ Conduct inspections of purchased parts and subassemblies according to defined criteria using standard inspection tools.
+ Utilize tools such as calipers, hard gages, and other inspection equipment.
+ Accurately document the results of quality control inspections and testing.
+ Maintain all controlled document files and test records.
+ Assist in creating and updating inspection templates and tools.
+ Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations within quality and manufacturing engineering.
+ Serve as a Change Agent, successfully implementing process improvements and SPC metrics in a technical manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in quality control, inspection, and quality engineering.
+ Strong background in quality assurance and root cause analysis.
+ Experience in electronics manufacturing and quality management systems.
+ Competence in using Six Sigma analytical tools and Lean Manufacturing methods.
+ Experience with calipers, gages, and inspection equipment.
+ Minimum of 1+ years of technical experience in manufacturing and quality control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
+ Experience in an electronics manufacturing facility is strongly preferred.
+ Strong analytical ability and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Work Environment
This position is based in Stony Point, NY, and requires full onsite presence. The work environment adheres to a business casual dress code with an 8am start time.
