Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare technology sector, is seeking a **Product Development Technician** to join their team. As a **Product Development Technician** , you will be part of the Research & Development department supporting innovative product solutions. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Product Development Technician
**Location:** Brea, CA
**Pay Range:** $26 - $33/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
+ Produce engineering documents, reports, and drawings including flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
+ Prepare reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis.
+ Provide technical support to engineers on various technical tasks.
+ Help scope equipment for use and complete qualifications, supporting hardware debugging and prototype development.
**What's Needed?**
+ A minimum of a high school diploma or secondary education in a technical discipline with 2-4 years of relevant experience in an R&D setting.
+ Experience in a lab environment involving handling chemicals and wearing personal protective equipment.
+ Familiarity with research/engineering documents such as test protocols, coordinate drawings, and equipment manuals.
+ Ability to understand and perform designed test procedures effectively.
+ Proficiency with personal computers and the ability to communicate effectively within a cross-functional team.
