**Instrument Foreman**
Supervise the installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs to pneumatic, hydraulic and process systems, and associated materials and equipment within a certain instrumentation scope of the project. Capable of supervising small crews of craft persons with guidance from General Foreman.
**Essential Duties**
+ Plan, organize and assign work from drawings and diagrams.
+ Plan and Layout the work for the employees in crew.
+ Complete regular safety walk through and weekly inspections with General Foreman.
+ Plan and Monitor the crew's progress, direct the crew and inform General Foreman of job status.
+ Knowledge of company's and client's safety programs and substance abuse programs.
+ Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices
+ Knowledge of use, limitations and maintenance of all Personal Protective Equipment required for the assigned work.
+ Knowledge of hazards and safe work procedures associated with working form elevated work areas and personnel lift equipment.
+ Knowledge of hazards and safe work procedures associated with the assigned work including but not limited to Lockout/Tagout, Confined Spaces, Emergency Action Plans, Safe Work Permits, Incident Reporting, and Hazcom procedures.

Our specialty construction company installs geomembrane liners, for containment purposes throughout the Midwest. Work consists of travel to jobsites to perform construction services and shop hours, in Flandreau, when home. Crews travel 5-14 days at a time and then return to Flandreau, SD. Workers perform excavation, flat concrete work, light subgrade work and construction activities relating to the installation of geomembrane.
Skills relating to the installation of geomembrane would be taught, through a training period with another supervisor.

We are looking to train a quality foreman, to be a partner in the business, who can think ahead, is clean and timely, meets goals, has high personal standards and communicates with crew, site personnel and management. This position would work directly with the site to help facilitate the work in a timely efficient manner, while delivering a high-level of customer service to each client while on site. This position will have a training period, to gain the knowledge and understanding of geomembrane liner installations, under another foreman.

Able to life 75+ lbs routinely throughout installation process

Self-motivated
Class A CDL is required
5+ years of construction experience

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Superintendent for Attic and Crawl Space restoration, The ideal candidate will Report to the Operations Manager. The Superintendent translates operational requirements into actionable direction at the ground level, supporting Field Crews in the areas of project supervision/coordination, quality control, team management, task preparation/planning, problem resolution, customer service, documentation, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures initial and onsite training of the field-level workforce.
  • Operates as crew safety manager, enforcing OSHA standards.
  • Manages and organizes equipment, tools, materials, and PPE at the facility.
  • Conducts site audits and performs Quality Control (QC) visits.
  • Maintains the condition of the work trucks/vans and schedules vehicle maintenance.
  • Serves as first responder for Customer Service Requests (CRS).
  • Oversees staging/cleaning of vehicles and signs off on job loading checklist.
  • Executes inventory and local purchases at the direction of the Operations Manager.
  • Mitigates workforce downtime by testing tools and troubleshooting broken equipment.

  • Verifies daily logs are complete at day's end and crew members clock in/out each day.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and 7 years clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction (residential projects preferred) supervision or a related field, plus minimum of 1-2 years experience with rodent control, insulation, demolition, etc.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with experience in supervising and coordinating field crews.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, OSHA standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using BuilderTrend, Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Excellent knowledge of equipment, tools, materials, and PPE management.
  • Competent in performing site audits, quality control checks, and maintaining detailed documentation.

Roles and Responsibilities
Acts as the main point of contact for all vendors and contractors working on-site, and coordinates
their schedules, deliveries, and work activities to ensure alignment with project timelines and
specifications.
Collaborates with vendors and contractors to schedule equipment, materials, and manpower
required for construction activities.
Ensures that resources are allocated efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
Conducts regular inspections and quality checks on work performed by vendors and contractors
to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Enforces safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site
personnel, including vendors and contractors.
Conducts safety briefings, inspections, and incident reporting as necessary.
Tracks the progress of work carried out by vendors and contractors, including milestones,
deliverables, and timelines.
Provides regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on the status of work and any
potential delays or issues.
Acts as a mediator in resolving conflicts or disputes that may arise between different vendors or
contractors on-site.
Facilitates open communication and collaboration to maintain a harmonious working relationship
among all parties.

Monitors expenditures related to vendor and contractor services, including material costs, labor
charges, and additional expenses.
Works closely with the project team to adhere to budgetary constraints and identify cost-saving
opportunities where possible.
Maintains accurate records of vendor contracts, work orders, invoices, and project
documentation.
Generates regular reports detailing vendor performance, work progress, and budget utilization for
review by project stakeholders.
