Human Resource Management Internship

The State of Florida is seeking motivated individuals to join our workforce. Our internship opportunities offer bright, highly motivated college students and recent graduates a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the operations of state government while obtaining valuable on-the-job training. As an HR intern, your responsibilities may include the following:

  • Contributing to recruitment efforts.
  • Supporting HR administration functions, including special projects as assigned to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the agency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the HR team to understand and identify areas of process improvement (i.e., onboarding, streamlining processes, etc.).

As a member of the Resource Management Office reporting to the Manager of Resource Management within the WDI Business Planning and Integration team, the Senior Analyst provides important workload forecasting and staffing information to make project decisions. This office partners across all WDI studios and geographies to ensure integrated resource plans and processes. This team applies technical skills, analytics, and relationship skills to forecast resources, summarize recommendations and develop scorecards.
We are looking for an intellectually curious, business-savvy, analytically minded individual with an awareness of workload and staffing planning methodologies and statistical modeling. The Sr. Analyst will provide recommendations to all levels of leadership for each of the WDI studios and geographies to optimize hiring and labor staffing. You will perform root cause analyses to identify causes of change, anomalies, and trends. You will partner with worldwide teams across WDI, Finance, HR and other partners to thoroughly understand existing trends and collaborate on future project scenarios. In addition, you will assist with process improvement to identify more refined ways to collect, store and visualize data in new and evolving systems. Ultimately, this role helps ensure we have the right Imagineer, at the right place, at the right time to create amazing products for our Guests.
You will report to the Manager - Resource Management.
This is a Full-Time role.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Develop and maintain project staffing profiles that identify resource needs across all WDI studios for projects with the intent of developing and recommending future business direction
+ Identify new technologies and techniques for analyzing each WDI Studio with multiple internal and external clients
+ Help establish, refine and maintain new resource and project staff tracking database systems, including onboard partner users
+ Create and evolve dashboards used in reporting and ad hoc analyses for easy synthesis of data to provide informed recommendations
+ Perform root cause analysis of model outputs and project variances to identify causes of change
+ Consult with each WDI Studio to understand fluctuations in their businesses to adapt the forecasting models
+ Support the WDI Business Planning and Integration team in research questions and ad hoc projects
+ Partner with Menu Planning to assess the impacts of changes and inform strategic slate planning
+ Partner with the Business Transformation function to identify programs that promote WDI priorities (including talent development, DEI, global integration)
+ Develop enhanced correlations and relationships between the analytics of a project and the ultimate solutions presented
+ Establish relationships throughout the organization
+ Assist in the creation of presentation material by combining logical aspects of the story with graphics, charts, and verbiage
**Required Qualifications & Skills:**
+ Minimum 3 years' experience in business analytics or analytical-based strategy development
+ Experience with advanced analytical methods, quantitative and qualitative analytics creating dashboards using relational databases, and other data visualization software
+ Experience with Excel, understanding multiple functions such as Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Solver and VBA
+ Understanding of the integration of multiple data sources into clear, relevant insights that build concrete solutions
+ Prior experience using data to tell well-informed, strategic stories to all levels of leadership.
+ Work with partners at different levels to coordinate team efforts and in a team environment
+ Experience with the creative process especially in early project phases
+ Experience solving complex problems with an eye towards creative innovation and process improvement
+ Collaborate, influence, and develop/maintain relationships at all levels
+ Maintain and assist users with new software applications
+ Prioritize work and lead high-level output accomplishing tasks at a tactical level and working through conflicting/changing priorities

Clinical Resource Management is responsible for the leadership and day-to-day operations of the Collaborative Services team members at the Pediatric Center. About the Role:

The LMS Technology Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of global training programs through the management, optimization, and maintenance of the University of Subway learning management system (LMS). This role ensures the seamless deployment of training content, accurate user enrollment, robust system structure, and reliable reporting functionality to support organizational learning objectives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and Maintain LMS Infrastructure- Oversee the configuration, structural integrity, and day-to-day maintenance of the University of Subway platform, ensuring accurate course assignments, user access, and system performance across all global markets.
  • Support Content Deployment and User Enrollment -Coordinate the timely launch of training programs by managing course uploads, user group structures, and automated rules for learner assignment, ensuring proper access and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor System Performance and Manage Support Tickets -Respond to and resolve LMS-related support tickets. Troubleshoot user issues and technical errors, escalating platform bugs when necessary. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Ensure Data Accuracy and Reporting -Maintain data integrity by monitoring user and enrollment data. Troubleshoot discrepancies and generate reports to track learner engagement, course completion, and overall training effectiveness aligned with business metrics.
  • Collaborate and Drive Continuous Improvement -Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Training, Operations, IT, etc.) to ensure LMS functionality supports current and future training needs. Recommend and implement enhancements, automations, and process improvements that elevate the user experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Information Systems, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Travel 10%.
  • 3+ years of experience managing LMS platforms.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
