Responsibilities
- Operates forklifts, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Experience using a RF Scanner
- Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
- Responsible for removing completed pallets from all machines.
- Move materials from and to WIP locations.
- Filling assembly machines with WIP
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker and Forklift
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organization time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- High school degree

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating power industrial trucks for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties in addition to his or her own. They are responsible for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving/Put-Away:
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Input data accurately into WMS.
- Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate area.
- Maintain an organized work area.
Order Picking:
- Pull and prepare for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
- Prepare freight for operations accurately and in a timely manner as required.
Quality:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating power industrial trucks for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties in addition to his or her own. They are responsible for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving/Put-Away:
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Input data accurately into WMS.
- Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate area.
- Maintain an organized work area.
Order Picking:
- Pull and prepare for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
- Prepare freight for operations accurately and in a timely manner as required.
Quality:
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Report quality variances
Delivery:
- Efficiently moves product form staging and/or storage to production lines and/or staging docks.
- Proper documentation must accompany freight.
Inventory:
- Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
- Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:
- Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area, and assist in security of the warehouse
- Will comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/ MSDS Standards.
- Participates in safety meetings.
Equipment Operation:
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, drum attachment, or other power equipment.
- Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- Associates must maintain an active forklift certification.
- Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES
- Change fuel tanks on fork lifts as needed: participate in physical inventories; perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed
- Repair pallets when necessary, trailers, and truck bays as requested.
- Help maintain the facility to provide a clean, safe work environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs while following proper lifting procedures. Must be able to stand on feet for up to 8 hours per day.

The Material Handler, CAR-T Warehouse Operations manages material needs/requirements for CAR-T production per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in controlled and/or classified environments under the supervision of Warehousing Operations Management. Material Handlers must adhere to regulatory requirements while performing job functions. Job duties are performed within a team according to an assigned, production shift schedule. Communication of production deviations and assistance with quality investigations are required, as applicable.
Shifts Available:
- Sunday to Wednesday, Onsite Afternoon Shift, 4 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
Responsibilities:

Performs inventory control: cycle counts, material stocking, scrapping, at a minimum.

Manages material expiry, allocation, kitting, and maintains material condition requirements.

Quantifies and maintains materials in production dispensary.

Perform apheresis receipt of incoming raw materials and prepares final product shipments for couriers.

Maintains timing according to the production schedule to ensure on-time logistics.

Records material handling data and information in a clear, concise, format according to proper GDPs.

Works in a team based, cross-functional environment to complete warehousing tasks required by shift schedule.

Must be able to work in an environment with blood derived components.

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Compensation Overview:
Summit West - NJ - US: $22.14 - $26.83 per hour
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available.
