Summary : Perform forming process including heat treat, pre-form, roll form, brake form, hot form.

Fundamental Duties:

· Perform forming process including heat treat, pre-form, roll form, brake form, hot form.

· Prepare hot form and brake form dies for use, including the application and removal of lubricant.

· Operate hot form and brake form assets

· Operate and input data into control panels for equipment used in the forming process.

· Self-inspect parts to assure parts meet specification.

· Measure parts with scale, caliper, radius gauge, micrometer, angle gauges, and other tools to meet parts standards to verify conformance to specifications.

· Train other cell operators

· Follow all safety, quality, and standard work procedures and perform all tasks in a safe manner

· Perform Total Production Maintenance on equipment as required

· Troubleshoot problems related to finish processes, features, and equipment.

· Participate in problem solving activities to improve the safety, quality, and efficient performance of the fabrication department.

· Transport material, work in progress, or finished goods from one area to another via certified methods

· Other duties as assigned

· Required to read and interpret blueprints and production orders and safety, operating, maintenance and procedure manuals

· Must have basic knowledge of math, math equations, and use of various measuring instruments

Job Summary: 

The position is responsible for performing various duties to ensure the overall safe and proper operation of various machinery in the forming area, maintaining all safety and quality processes, adjusting the machines to optimum settings, obtaining minimal downtime, fewest rejects with efficient output and product switchovers.    

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot on assigned machines. 
• Ensuring machine-specific functions, such as configuring the equipment, loading, and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability.
•  Oversee the basic maintenance, and they are responsible for the product quality.
• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle and control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed).
• Constantly feed raw material (dough and filling mixes) into proper hoppers, and rollers throughout the shift. 
• Continually monitor machine operation to ensure accurate product measurements are maintained.
• Communicate mechanical and operational issues to the maintenance team as they arise.
• Maintain standard production rates, low waste and meet Shine requirements.
• Complete all necessary documentation and reports.
• Assists in directing and training employees assigned to a specific area, looking out for safety, and adherence to GMPs, and communicates and delegates tasks to team members per Supervisor’s instructions.
• Responsible for the quality and product that is produced within the shift in line with the companies’ quality systems, processes, and procedures.
• Operates machinery, equipment, and tools safely and proficiently according to standards, guidelines, and instructions and assigned machinery speeds.
• Assemble/Disassemble machines for use or changeovers.  Ability to properly lubricate all moving parts to prevent damage due to friction.
• Must be able to read, understand, and adhere to daily production schedules.
• Must be able to read and understand product specifications established by Shine Foods and recognize deviations from those specifications.

**Summary**
Essential job function is to monitor, operate, and maintain two (2) glass syringe forming machines in line with other equipment (printer, module or various automated barrel transfer systems), inspection equipment, and ovens. 4. Responsible for identifying and correcting any dimensional defects and cosmetic defects according to current QC specifications, to insure good quality.
5. Maintain equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule.
6. Record accurate inspection data as required.
7. Responsible to contribute to the continuous improvement of the process.
8. Provide coaching and on the job training to peers as required, once signed off.
9. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

We're hiring **Forming Machine Operators** for the **2nd shift (3p-11:30p)** . Training will be on the **1st shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM)** for approximately three months.

This position is responsible to set up and run department equipment to form finished bearings and bushings.
+ Operates up to 3 machines simultaneously according to standard operating procedures, or special instruction from supervisor.
+ Clears machine jams, makes adjustments as needed.
+ Performs SPC checks and procedures.
+ Monitors and updates status of work orders.
+ Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety.
+ Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area as scheduled or as needed.

Provided is the pay rate for this position which is $20.50 - $3 (0-4 years machine operator experience) and (5+years machine operator experience), plus 2nd shift differential of 1/hr. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, 04-years experience is 44,500-53,800 and for 5+ years experience is 49,600-60,100. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

We're hiring **Forming Machine Operators** for the **3rd shift (11 PM - 7:30 AM)** . Training will be on the **1st shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM)** for approximately three months.

This position is responsible to set up and run department equipment to form finished bearings and bushings.
+ Operates up to 3 machines simultaneously according to standard operating procedures, or special instruction from supervisor.
+ Clears machine jams, makes adjustments as needed.
+ Performs SPC checks and procedures.
+ Monitors and updates status of work orders.
+ Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety.
+ Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area as scheduled or as needed.
+ Maintain necessary records as required by SOPs and work instructions.
+ Visually observe, troubleshoot, and report non-conformance condition (either product or process) to supervisor, or manager as required.
+ Disassemble and reassemble machines and replace parts as required.
+ Monitor quality of product through 1st piece and final inspection as required.
+ Perform other related duties as required or as directed by supervisor.
+ Exhibits safety awareness and safe work practices.
+ Understand all environmental policies and significant environmental impact of job activities in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.
+ High school diploma or equivalent, REQUIRED
+ Able to operate independently and as part of a team
+ Basic command of the English language, written and verbal.
+ Able to read and follow SOPs, labels and instructions and blueprints.
+ Demonstrated mechanical abilities, including use of measuring devices.
+ Experience in Statistical Process Control.
+ Demonstrated mechanical and mathematical abilities.
+ Computer skills necessary to fulfill department requirements.

Provided is the pay rate for this position which is $0.50 (0-4 years machine operator experience) and 23 (5+years machine operator experience), plus 3 rd shift differential of 2/hr. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, 04-years experience is 6,700- 56,100 and for 5+ years experience is 51,900 to 62,400.- Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, proud makers of Gardein, is looking for a Forming & Frying Operator to join our 1st shift team. You will join a team of about 250 and will report to the Production Supervisor.
**Schedule:**
1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 4:30am - 2:30pm | You will need to be available for weekend work
**Starting Pay:**
$22.86/hour | Your wage will increase over time!
**Essential duties:**
You can perform all of the following job responsibilities:
+ Must understand all GMP's for producing quality product
+ Can understand production schedule
+ Must follow all OSHA and Plant safety rules
+ Assist operators with minor change-over aspects
+ Will perform tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
+ Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
+ Other tasks as assigned **Level 2 must perform all above and below duties.**
+ Can assemble and operate high speed equipment, including Kitter, Mixer, Freezer, Former, and Fryer.
+ Can assist the Operators in all responsibilities such as clearing jams, stacking off, climbing, machine faults, loading of materials, checking code dates.
+ Responsible for recording of specific information in CDC
+ Follow Quality Assurance standards and WinSPC - computerized weight control
+ Responsible for minor repairs and adjustments of each machine center line
+ Responsible for staging changeover parts before changeover and returning changeover parts to changeover parts cart
