Overview
**Position Overview:**
The **Telecommunications Technician 1** is responsible for the installation of communications cabling and equipment in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. As a technician you should have work experience installing basic equipment which involves using hand tools and power tools, a basic understanding of Telecom Systems, blueprints and knowledge of codes and standards. Telecommunications Technicians are to be considered full-time employees with company benefits.
In this position, you will be gaining understanding & knowledge of Telecommunication Systems including OSP & ISP Copper, CCTV, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling. Additionally, each technician must make every effort to become a qualified BICSI Technician.
**Core Market Sector:**
The candidate being considered must have hands-on experience & knowledge in the installation of Low-Voltage specialty contracting industries, solution-driven initiatives & overall leadership to field-project teams. This candidate will be responsible for supporting complex scopes specific to Healthcare, Government, Higher-Education, Federal Aviation (Preferred) & Mission Critical industries.
**Position Requirements & Responsibilities:**
· Basic knowledge of operating Hand & Power Tools safely, along with adhering to all Safety Regulations & Procedures.
· Understand how to Survey and document existing telecommunications infrastructure including Copper & Fiber Cables, both active & passive components using electronic devices.
· Ability to Sketch Rack, Floor & Wall Elevations.
+ Previous working experience in Terminating, Testing & Troubleshooting of Horizontal Copper (Cat 5, Cat 6).
+ Previous experience installing various types of Low-Voltage Cabling.
· Understanding of Installation, Inspection, Terminating, Testing and Troubleshooting of ISP/OSP Telecommunications Systems (Fiber Optics, Category 5, 6, 6A & Associated Equipment) Including:
o Various pathways and Cable Tray
o Various Cabinet and Racks
o Various Telecommunications Devices
o Prefabricated Components and Assemblies.
o Telecommunications Grounding Systems
· Ability to lead the installation of cable from Telecommunications Rooms (TR) to work area outlets (WAO) while following directions & ensuring cables are installed methodically & arranged in proper bundles at TR for ease of dressing & termination.
· Required to have a full set of Tools obtained prior to the first day of employment as needed to perform the position.
+ Knowledge & understanding of different color codes & strong familiarity with TIA & EIA Standards.
+ Ability to label & test Horizonal Cable as required for the position.
+ Must be able to perform Quality Assurance checks of the team's work to ensure cable installation is performed within all applicable requirements.
+ Maintain a clean working environment & participate in daily job site cleanup.
+ Must secure company tools & materials daily.

**Education, Experience & Technical Qualifications:**
· Minimum 3+ years of experience in related Telecommunications experience specific to the oversight & installation of OSP & ISP Copper, CCTV, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling within diverse construction industries.
+ Requires a BICSI certification, at minimum a BICSI Installer 1 for copper certification
· High School Diploma OR GED required.
· Must be 18 years of age with reliable transportation daily to & from the appointed jobsite.
· Experience in & knowledge of telecommunications installation in complex markets including Federal & Government Facilities, Healthcare/Hospitals, Commercial Buildings & Mission Critical Facilities.
· Ability to pass basic telecommunications knowledge test.

**Physical Abilities Required:**

+ Serve as an advisor to the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator in matters related to Sports Medicine (SM), injury prevention, rehabilitation, and relevant human performance research.
+ Serve as an advisor to the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator for administrative matters, purchasing of supplies and equipment, and supplemental fiscal requests. 
+ Conduct equipment, product, and literature reviews to ensure the HP program stays current with the provision of care.

Overview:
AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking experienced Emergency Medical Officers to deliver high-quality care in the Emergency Department at Womack Army Medical Center. As an independent contractor, you will provide services that adhere to nationally recognized standards while collaborating with both military and civilian healthcare professionals in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Emergency Medical Care:


  • Conduct evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for urgent and emergent conditions.
  • Manage acute situations and perform advanced procedures (e.g., intubations, central lines, resuscitations).
Patient Management:


  • Oversee care from admission to discharge and collaborate on individualized care plans.
  • Refer patients to specialists and coordinate follow-up care.
Clinical Documentation:

Procedural Competency:

Minimum Shift Requirement:

Qualifications:


  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Certification:
    • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
    • Current ATLS,BLS,ACLS certification is strongly encouraged.

Job Summary

Public Safety Officers serve as front line guardians to the Hartford HealthCare Community by providing customer service and ensuring our environments are safe, secure and more prepared for all of our patients, visitors, colleagues, clinicians and physicians. Public Safety Officers are equipped to prevent hazardous situations with their presence, respond and manage hazardous and emergency situations and provide support and resources when situations are successfully managed.

* Provides professional, customer service focused assistance to the HHC Community including patients, visitors, families, colleagues, clinicians, physicians, and the first responder community, among others.
* Patrols and rounds facility to identify concerning activity, safety concerns or other problems. May be assigned to fixed areas to check credentials, provide information or directions. When assigned to mobile patrols, operates vehicles in a safe manner complying with all traffic and safety rules.
* Provides a timely response, uses problem solving to take appropriate action to manage and investigate security incidents and hazards.
* Maintain current knowledge of instructions, policies and procedures and performs work in accordance with these guidelines.
* Shares information with other Public Safety Officers, maintains accurate activity logs and completes reports and documentation.
* Partners with law enforcement and other first responders when circumstances warrant.
* Informs supervisor or other leadership of unusual situations and request additional assistance as needed.
* Completes other duties as assigned.

One (1) year of relevant experience (public safety, corrections, emergency medical services, military) required.

High school diploma/GED required

* Valid driver's license required
* Valid CT Guard Card required
* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English required
* Two (2) years of relevant experience preferred
* Basic First Aid and CPR preferred
* Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) preferred
* Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) preferred
* Multilingual preferred
* Ability to exercise discretion and use good judgment to perform duties promptly and consistently with little direction based on the current circumstances.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Public Safety Officers (PSOs) are vital to promoting a safe and secure campus. They maintain law and order on the campus, enforce University regulations, and request assistance from law enforcement agencies when necessary. Qualified candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and sound judgment. PSOs report to Manhattan University Supervisors and are responsible for the following:

* Protect Manhattan University personnel and facilities against the hazards of fire, accidents and vandalism; enforce all regulations, including those in department manual for Security Officers
* Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
* Protect the building structure and grounds to which officer is assigned, including the contents, occupants and visitors; patrol as assigned and seek out and take preventive action against existing hazards or conditions which may cause injury, damage or interference with normal operation, and report same immediately
* Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
* Ensure operation of equipment and systems; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
* Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, parking enforcement and accident investigations
* Guide visitors and assist in a courteous manner; return lost or found articles to Public Safety Office; assists ill or injured persons in obtaining care, and report such events immediately by radio and on proper report forms
* Public Safety Officers are required to use computer systems and other technology, namely access control, visitor management and security camera systems
* Public Safety Officer will be assigned to work either a day, evening, or overnight shift depending on the needs of the department. The position requires the Security Officer work holidays, weekends, nights, and a variety of shifts and overtime when circumstances warrant. PSOs are considered Essential Personnel in order to maintain the safety and security of University property, personnel, affiliates and visitors
* Perform related duties as assigned

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Valid NYS Guard License, NYS Dept. of States 8-hour mandated certificate training
* First Aid Certification, F-01/F-03/F-04 COF license a plus. Will be required to obtain after hire 90 days to Minimum 1-year prior security experience

Reports infractions of University rules and regulations, state law, and city ordinances; protects and secures University property and equipment; and controls admittance to certain buildings and areas. Also serves as Assistant Locksmith as required.

Required Qualifications:

1. A minimum of three years public safety experience preferred. Alternate training may be accepted in lieu of public safety training, i.e., military or civilian police, degree courses in criminal justice, specialized certification programs, etc.
