We are seeking a stellar Special Operations Physical Therapist who will provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Evaluate and treat patients with or without referrals. 
+ Refer patients to other POTFF staff members as needed. 
+ Provide and perform the following services in support of POTFF's HP program for SOF personnel, with the priority on SOF Operators and Direct Combat Support personnel: Provide neuro - musculoskeletal injury care, utilizing approved supplemental clinical privileges including the ordering of images, laboratory tests, pharmaceuticals, dry needling, acupuncture, joint injections and aspirations, and referrals to specialty providers .
+ If directed by HP Program Manager and/or Coordinator, directly supervise the PT Tech, PT Assistant, and/or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) within their scope of practice. 
+ Participate in periodic meetings with HP and POTFF for reasons such as, but not limited to, reviewing care provided to patients. Identify opportunities for improvement. 
+ Serve as an advisor to the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator in matters related to Sports Medicine (SM), injury prevention, rehabilitation, and relevant human performance research.
+ Serve as an advisor to the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator for administrative matters, purchasing of supplies and equipment, and supplemental fiscal requests. 
+ Conduct equipment, product, and literature reviews to ensure the HP program stays current with the provision of care. 
+ Provide input for the development and utilization of required databases. 
+ Conduct peer (record) review s for the HP Staff as directed by governing credentialing body and local medical oversight process.
+ Assists the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator in developing and updating criteria-based job descriptions and performance standards. 
+ Assist the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator in developing and maintaining clinical practice guidelines to ensure consistency of care across all HP Training Centers ( HPTCs ) and associated facilities. 
+ Assist with the preparation of sh ort and long-term fiscal plans; s ubmits input to the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator. 
+ Attend and participate in meetings with other POTFF staff members and medical providers as requested and/or required . 
+ Ensure safe and effective operation of equipment used for patient care and contribute to a safe working environment.
+ Participate in periodic in-service training for members of the HP staff or POTFF staff as appropriate .
+ Attend required training in accordance with guiding instructions. Commands will allow for attendance at necessary conferences and/or courses to complete continuing education units required to maintain certification.
+ Maintain 100% compliance with local mandatory command training requirements.
+ Document care in the Military's Electronic Health Record ) i.e., AHLTA , GENESIS, etc.) and/or the HP Enterprise-wide database (e.g., Sma r tbase , etc.) as required per DODI 6040.45, USSOCOM HQ and POTFF Staff, and as directed by local HP program manager and/or coordinator.
+ Document work performed, utilization , encounters, referrals, and all other information in the Military's Electronic Health Record (i.e., AHLTA , MHS GENESIS, etc.) and/or the HP Enterprise-wide database (e.g., Smartbase , etc.), as directed by HP program manager and/or coordinator and/or required by USSOCOM HQ and its POTFF staff.
+ Perform other tasks, within the scope of the PT position description, as assigned by the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator and/or required by USSOCOM HQ and its POTFF staff.
+ Collect and report all data as requested by the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator and required by USSOCOM HQ and its POTFF staff.
+ Proficiently utilize computers, software, and technologies as required and requested by the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator and required by USSOCOM HQ and its POTFF staff.
Required Education/Experience/Skills/Training: 
+ This position requires U.S. Citizenship.
+ This position requires a Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain a clearance.
+ Master's degree in Physical Therapy .
+ Certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties ( ABPTS ) as either an OCS or SCS , or certification through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) as a certified athletic trainer (ATC). 
+ Maintain credentialing requirements in good standing at the local MTF. 
+ Capable of meeting physical demands of training with SOF including the ability to hike over rough terrain, function in austere environments, and observe SOF training evolutions. 
+ May be required to assist with strength and conditioning testing and training protocols and lift and manipulate loads or weights up to 25 kilograms.
+ Minimum of five ( 5 ) years or more of demonstrable, accumulated experience (continuous and sustained experience preferred) of performing manual therapy in the sports medicine field with individual athletes and groups of athletes (experience at the levels of NCAA Division I, Olympic, professional, and/or SOF Operators preferred) in the accompanying, respective settings. 
+ Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
+ Must maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac L ife Support ( BCLS ) by the American Heart Association; m ust provide front and back proof of all training/certs/documentation.
Desired Education, Experience, Skills or Training: 
+ Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. 
+ Prior military and/or SOF experience. 
+ Additional credentials such as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association ( NSCA ).

Overview:
AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking experienced Emergency Medical Officers to deliver high-quality care in the Emergency Department at Womack Army Medical Center. As an independent contractor, you will provide services that adhere to nationally recognized standards while collaborating with both military and civilian healthcare professionals in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Emergency Medical Care:

• Conduct evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for urgent and emergent conditions.
• Manage acute situations and perform advanced procedures (e.g., intubations, central lines, resuscitations).

Patient Management:

• Oversee care from admission to discharge and collaborate on individualized care plans.
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate follow-up care.

Clinical Documentation:

• Maintain accurate patient records per AR 40-66 standards.
• Document all clinical interactions and ensure timely completion of medical records.

Procedural Competency:

• Perform various emergency procedures, including medication administration, wound care, and fracture management.
• Utilize advanced airway management techniques

Shift Hours and Schedule:

• Shift Length: Emergency Medical Officers will work shifts of either 9 or 12 hours, depending on departmental needs.
• Shift Times:
  • 9 hours: 0700-1600; 1500-000; 2200-0700
  • 12 hours: 0700-1900; 1000-2200; 1100-2300; 1400-0200; 1900-0700

Minimum Shift Requirement:

• Physicians must work a minimum of four shifts per month, with at least one shift every 30 days to maintain active access credentials (CAC).

Qualifications:

• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Certification:
  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
  • Current ATLS,BLS,ACLS certification is strongly encouraged.
• Licensure: Valid, unrestricted Medical license in State of NC license accepted.
• Experience: Minimum of Three years in an emergency department setting.
• Skills: Proficiency in advanced life support, emergency procedures, and acute care management.
• Language: Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS,ATLS certifications recognized by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Immunization Requirements:

• Complete a general physical examination and meet all immunization standards prior to starting clinical duties. This includes proof of immunity to hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and a current tetanus-diphtheria booster.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Protect highly valuable property, such as equipment, material, grounds, etc.
* Patrol an assigned area and/or stands at a fixed post
* Perform security checks of buildings and grounds
* Check persons on the premises to determine if they possess proper identifications and are authorized to be present on ASM property
* Conduct preliminary internal investigations relevant to incidents within an assigned area
* Intervene in disturbances/incidents to maintain peace or restore order
* Erect and remove barricades, temporary signs, and other materials for parking and crowd management
* Provide customer service functions

Job Summary

Qualified candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and sound judgment. PSOs report to Manhattan University Supervisors and are responsible for the following:

* Protect Manhattan University personnel and facilities against the hazards of fire, accidents and vandalism; enforce all regulations, including those in department manual for Security Officers
* Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
* Protect the building structure and grounds to which officer is assigned, including the contents, occupants and visitors; patrol as assigned and seek out and take preventive action against existing hazards or conditions which may cause injury, damage or interference with normal operation, and report same immediately
* Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
* Ensure operation of equipment and systems; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
* Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, parking enforcement and accident investigations
* Guide visitors and assist in a courteous manner; return lost or found articles to Public Safety Office; assists ill or injured persons in obtaining care, and report such events immediately by radio and on proper report forms
* Public Safety Officers are required to use computer systems and other technology, namely access control, visitor management and security camera systems
* Public Safety Officer will be assigned to work either a day, evening, or overnight shift depending on the needs of the department. The position requires the Security Officer work holidays, weekends, nights, and a variety of shifts and overtime when circumstances warrant. PSOs are considered Essential Personnel in order to maintain the safety and security of University property, personnel, affiliates and visitors
* Perform related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Valid NYS Guard License, NYS Dept. of States 8-hour mandated certificate training
* First Aid Certification, F-01/F-03/F-04 COF license a plus. Will be required to obtain after hire 90 days to Minimum 1-year prior security experience
* Prior experience in college campus a plus
* Must be physically fit
* Able to engage in strenuous physical activity, including walking, climbing stairs, as well as standing or sitting for long periods of time
* Willing and able to perform duty in inclement weather conditions
* Ability to write legible reports, use a portable radio, and use judgment that is sound and proper when addressing emergencies

Reports infractions of University rules and regulations, state law, and city ordinances; protects and secures University property and equipment; and controls admittance to certain buildings and areas. Also serves as Assistant Locksmith as required.

Required Qualifications:

1. A minimum of three years public safety experience preferred. Alternate training may be accepted in lieu of public safety training, i.e., military or civilian police, degree courses in criminal justice, specialized certification programs, etc.

2. High school diploma or equivalent, with sufficient communicative skills to read and understand instructions, and to clearly express both written and verbal ideas.

3. Must be available for overtime as required.

4. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with the university's Motor Vehicle Policy. A MVC check will be required at the time of hire and thereafter as deemed appropriate by the university. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the MVC check.

5. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check.

6. Employment is conditional upon the satisfactory result of a post-offer of employment medical/vision examination and drug test administered by a university selected licensed medical practitioner, indicating fitness and health to perform the job.
