SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs problems with systems.
- Performs maintenance and operational checks on mechanical and electrical components of systems.
- Installs temporary and permanent units.
- Uses hand and power tools for installations and repairs.
- Interacts with customers to determine problems and repair requirements.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all types of HVAC equipment (PMOs).

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and adjusting various instruments used to measure and control HVAC variables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspects and repairs instruments used to measure and control HVAC variables such as, pressure, flow, temperature, motion, force, and chemical composition using hand tools and precision instruments.
- Disassembles malfunctioning instruments; examines and tests mechanism and circuitry for defects.
- Troubleshoots equipment in or out of control system and repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Reassembles repaired equipment and tests for conformance with specifications.
- Uses testing instruments such as potentiometer, resistance bridge, manometer, and pressure gauge.
- Inspects instruments periodically and makes minor calibration adjustments to insure functioning within specified standards.
- Adjusts and repairs final control mechanisms, such as automatically controlled valves or positioners.

KBR is seeking a Master Resilience Trainer to help strengthen the physical and psychological health, resilience and performance of Soldiers, Unit Leaders, Families, and DA Civilians to excel in KBR's Science and Space division. The purpose of our Master Resilience Trainer Support Program is to provide specialists focused on optimizing mental and physical health and to provide and sustain the effort of existing Army training and education programs across Army installations. The work provides support for the purpose of increasing the physical and psychological health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Families, and Department of the Army Civilians, Department of the Defense personnel, United States (US) Government Agencies, and Allied Forces (ROTC) Cadets, and Department of the Army Civilians.
The Master Resilience Trainer will be responsible for:
+ Master Resilience Trainers shall instruct individuals in holistic approaches to strength and conditioning and resilience so that they can help ensure durability. Certified Master Resilience Trainers conduct training intake/registration to include initial unit contact, observation, and development of training plan, provide all preparations for the training event to include conducting research, tailoring course material, producing all course material and distributing course material to all training attendees, and shall facilitate the training event, grade student course materials, and document student grades in required databases.
+ Master Resilience Trainers will assess training impact by distributing surveys at the close of each training activity, provide survey results and summarize training activities in an After-Action Review (AAR) for every training session conducted, and will provide the AAR to leadership for all courses conducted within five workdays of training session completion, as well as a quarterly report with analyses of all data. Master Resilience Trainers will maintain records of trainings and observe instructors providing training and provide feedback on delivery of training. All Master Resilience Trainers will complete initial instructor certifications to ensure effective delivery.
+ Master Resilience Trainers' instruction will be geared toward the application of resilience and performance enhancement, how the training ties directly into unit missions, and how to incorporate resilience and performance enhancement into higher level guidance and training. Training will include concepts and skill building to build professional climates founded on mutual trust and cohesive teams, empower Leaders to apply proven communication and fundamental counseling skills that support the organization's doctrine for developmental counseling and evaluations, develop critical thinking, knowledge, and skills to overcome challenges and to bounce back from adversity. Training will focus on teaching participants the practical application of resilience training, resilience and performance enhancement skills, leadership training, and similar skills. Master Resilience Trainers shall work as part of a team and provide participants with the resilience and performance knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully complete required trainings, general education in human performance along with personalized training on how to acquire and apply specific mental skills and techniques that cultivate mental and emotional strength. Master Resilience Trainers provide tailored educational programs and workshops to help personnel living and working in demanding environments achieve success and accomplish personal, professional, and family goals.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
+ Education: Minimum of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the field of Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with a specialized emphasis in sport and/or performance psychology.
+ Teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military and DOD personnel.
+ Thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures, regulations, and policy pertaining to the Department of the Army.
+ Prior to performing MRT-PE tasks, MRT-PEs shall have graduated from the Army's Master Resilience Training Course and be a certified Army Performance Expert.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Program Manager to lead and drive complex Army-focused defense programs. This individual will be responsible for overseeing cross-functional development efforts, managing program execution from concept through delivery, and serving as the primary customer interface for strategic Army programs in execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead program execution for Army defense programs, ensuring on-time delivery and performance across defined milestones and deliverables
- Serve as the primary program point of contact for U.S. Army stakeholders, engaging regularly to ensure alignment, capture feedback, and build strong relationships
- Work closely with the Army Account lead to inform Army go-to-market strategy and identify key Army programs and opportunities
- Drive the articulation, evolution, and communication of product roadmaps in collaboration with engineering, product, and operations teams
- Manage risk, schedule, budget, and program metrics with discipline and transparency
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless execution
- Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership and customers
- Collaborate closely with product teams to translate user needs and mission goals into deliverable capabilities
- Prepare and lead program reviews, contract updates, and proposal efforts as needed
- Travel (~2040%) to customer sites, test ranges, and partner facilities
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Masters preferred)
- Secret Clearance (Ability to obtain TS/SCI)
- 57 years of experience managing complex defense programs, preferably with direct experience managing U.S. Army efforts
- Demonstrated success in managing product development lifecycles and cross-functional teams
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Experience leading programs with defined deliverables and milestone-based execution
- Ability to synthesize technical input into actionable program plans and briefings
- Willingness to travel and engage directly with military customers and end-users
- Prior experience managing Army C5ISR, PEO, or other Army acquisition programs
- PMP certification or DAWIA Program Management Level II/III
- Background in product development, systems engineering, or defense technology

- The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $101,000.00 - $69,000.00 annually.

The Post-9/11 GI Bill
