Job Description
About Primer Fixing our K-12 education system is a civilizationally-important problem. We believe that all of our problems — including the ones that dominate the headlines — are downstream of education. We have a simple thesis on how to solve it: empower 1,000's of educators to launch microschools in their communities. We believe the historical tradeoff between price (tuition) and quality is a false dichotomy. PrimerOS automates and eliminates much of the costs of traditional schools. Microschools have a structural advantage — asset-light real estate — which means much lower capex and opex. You put it together, and you get something that's never existed before: a world-class education that's accessible to normal American families and can rapidly scale. About the Role We’re hiring for our first Internal Recruiter at Primer. This role will be the force behind our hiring engine — owning sourcing, candidate experience, and closing across all teams at Primer. You’ll help us source exceptional talent for every team at Primer, from education to engineering. This is explicitly not a formulaic recruiting role. You won’t spend your days recruiting your 117th engineer and 29th designer. We’re solving problems that have never been solved before and have a near-constant need for niche talent. You’ll need to spike on both the people-facing art of recruiting and the behind-the-scenes systems required to build and scale a great recruiting engine. If you’re the type of person who loves the hunt, the type of person for whom a phenomenal interview will make your week, and the type of person who obsesses on getting that last sentence just right on an outbound email campaign — we’d love to meet you. Responsibilities Own end-to-end recruiting across key roles at Primer — from sourcing to close — with a focus on quality, speed, and candidate experience. Partner closely with hiring managers across teams (education, operations, engineering, product, finance, and more) to understand their needs and build strong pipelines of exceptional candidates. Build and maintain candidate outreach strategies — including cold sourcing, passive engagement, and creative ways to reach new talent pools. Manage our internal hiring infrastructure, ensuring every candidate moves through a clear, well-structured process. Quickly ramp up on new roles and lead first-round screening calls for teams across the company. Represent Primer to candidates with professionalism, clarity, and excitement about our mission — you’ll almost always be their first impression of our team. Track and report on recruiting progress and metrics to the leadership team, ensuring we’re constantly improving with each new search. Qualifications Experience in a full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition role, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth startup. Proven success sourcing and hiring for a range of roles, from individual contributors to leadership positions across many teams. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust with both candidates and the internal team. High agency + high organizational skills — you’ll need to manage multiple searches and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. If this sounds like you, fill out the application below with a bit about yourself and we'll take it from there! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email us at #J-18808-Ljbffr

The vast majority of enterprise data — from financial statements to health records — is locked in unstructured file formats like PDFs and spreadsheets. We train vision models to read those documents the way a human would, and make it possible to build products, train models, and automate processes at scale. We’ve grown incredibly quickly, from zero to mid 7 figure ARR in 1 year, and now work with hundreds of companies ranging from leading AI teams (Harvey, Vanta, Scale), through to enterprise (FAANG, top 3 trading firm). We’re also backed by world class investors like Benchmark and First Round Capital, and are looking for a Founding Recruiter to support our growth as a company in rapidly hiring. The Opportunity The vast majority of enterprise data is in files like PDFs and spreadsheets. That includes everything from financial statements to medical records. Reducto helps AI teams turn those really complex documents into LLM-ready inputs with exceptional accuracy. Hundreds of companies have signed up to use Reducto since our launch, and we're now processing hundreds of millions of documents for teams ranging from leading startups like Scale AI to Fortune 10 enterprises. We're hiring a Founding Recruiter to build the team that will take Reducto to the next level. About Reducto Nearly 80% of enterprise data is in unstructured formats like PDFs PDFs are the status quo for enterprise knowledge in nearly every industry. Insurance claims, financial statements, invoices, and health records are all stored in a structure that’s simply impractical for use in digital workflows. This isn’t an inconvenience—it’s a critical bottleneck that leads to dozens of wasted hours every week . Traditional approaches fail at reliably extracting information in complex PDFs OCR and even more sophisticated ML approaches work for simple text documents but are unreliable for anything more complex. Text from different columns are jumbled together, figures are ignored, and tables are a nightmare to get right. Overcoming this usually requires a large engineering effort dedicated to building specialized pipelines for every document type you work with. In 2017, OE established two Quest Forward High Schools in California and Nebraska founded on the principles of Quest Forward Learning.
Leveraging these resources and learnings, Opportunity Education is about to embark on a new chapter of scale and impact, building a network of schools across the United States that offer students opportunities for both academic success and intentional planning for their post-secondary pathways, and will serve as a model for schools nationwide. - Codifying best practices from around the country, in collaboration with the other founding principal(s) and Chief of Schools, into a framework that helps define what makes up the core DNA of future Opportunity Education schools

- Recruit and fully enroll the founding class of students
- Recruit and hire the founding team of teachers and staff
- Build the systems and structures that ensure excellence in onboarding, launch, and daily success of the school.

- A high degree of integrity, including unquestionable reliability and follow-through on responsibilities
- The deep belief, in mindset and practice, that every student who walks through your doors has the potential to succeed
- Alignment to the belief that all students are college-capable but should be prepared for and deeply understand the various pathways available to them, choosing the one that maximizes their success, happiness, and is a smart financial decision
- A deep passion for educational excellence and equity, particular in socioeconomically disadvantaged and historically underserved communities
- Alignment with Opportunity Education's approach to active and engaged learning, including a commitment to use the curriculum, tools, and resources within the school
Among the qualifications, the ideal candidate has the following:

- Experience building external partnerships with community organizations, corporations, and colleges to create opportunities for students
- An ability, proven with experience, to create clear, consistent, and positive culture among students both in the expectations set for culture and the opportunities afforded to students within a school community
- Well-established instructional leadership ability, including in teacher coaching, curriculum development, and developing communities of data-focused learning among staff
- Proficiency in managing a school's budget and leading operational systems (e.g. technology, scheduling, parent communication, school cleanliness, etc.) with successful attention to detail
- 5+ years of experience as a K-12 school leader, ideally at the principal level
- 10+ years of experience as an instructional leader in and out of the classroom
- The founding principal must currently possess or have the ability to be a licensed administrator in the state of Indiana ahead of the school's launch in summer/fall 2025

FleetWorks is rebuilding the $1 trillion freight marketplace with AI. Every year, companies spend over a trillion dollars moving freight across the U.S. - but the system for matching trucks with jobs is still slow, manual, and fragmented. FleetWorks is fixing that.
We're turning today's chaotic freight market into a modern, intelligent marketplace - one where AI agents replace the endless phone calls, texts and emails and match jobs to trucks instantly.
As an early designer at FleetWorks, you will shape the way users interact with our AI-driven platform, directly influence product strategy, conduct user research, and play a pivotal role in crafting our company culture.
About you:
- You have 3+ years of experience designing intuitive, user-centric interfaces for complex software products. We also consider exceptional candidates with strong portfolios demonstrating outstanding design thinking, including previous startup founders or individuals with unconventional paths.
- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate.
- You're passionate and driven. Colleagues describe you as someone who deeply cares about your work, turning tasks into obsessions.
- You thrive on tough challenges. Our product manages tens of thousands of interactions daily, and your designs will simplify complex AI-driven workflows.
- You're competitive - you want to build the best possible product and design experiences users love.
- We build with speed : it's often better to launch and iterate than spend weeks agonizing over small decisions. Our team is oriented around quick iteration.
- We build with empathy : logistics is an industry that can be frustrating and painful when things go wrong. We build for edge cases to solve the most challenging parts of managing freight.
- No internal politics : Our team stays focused on core projects, so everyone at FleetWorks has significant autonomy to build. There are no micro-managers, low-value meetings, or jockeying for priority.
- We skate to wear the puck is going : underlying AI technology is improving rapidly. We build products that take advantage of this wave.
We try to keep our process tight to respect candidate time:
- A 30-minute interview with our design contractor.
- A 30-minute interview with the CEO.
- 1-2 days paid onsite work trial (number of days variable based on your availability) including a portfolio presentation, white boarding session, and small live project in Figma.
- Health plan
