Our client, a leading organization in Atlanta, is launching a new website and intranet via SharePoint. They are seeking a freelance Web Designer to support the design, layout, and user flow of both platforms. This is a full-time, 40-hour/week hybrid role, with onsite work required on Mondays and Tuesdays. The client is seeking someone with experience designing for intranet experiences and while this is web design focused, any best practice knowledge of UX fundamentals and basic coding is helpful (no hands-on development required, just basic high level knowledge is a plus)! **Job Description:**
+ The Web Designer creates digital graphics to be used on our websites and across digital marketing channels in support of 48 client Appliance Center locations.
+ The Web Designer will be able to translate high level business requirements and promotional campaigns into branded, intuitive, revenue generating designs that are appropriate to their respective channel.
+ The Web Designer develops site content and graphics by collaborating with the Ecommerce Specialist and Advertising team - designing images, icons, banners, etc.
+ The Web Designer will make continuous improvements to the websites by upgrading site-wide content and graphics as needed through testing and analysis findings, promotional needs, etc.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Accountable for on-time implementation of all digital assets (web pages, emails, banner ads, landing pages, etc.) in support of content calendars.
+ Provide input into the development of and ensure the adherence to brand standards on all digital channels.
+ Implement SEO strategies that drive overall and campaign-specific web traffic.
+ Perform routine quality and usability testing for existing and new sites to maximize the website experience.

**Experience:**

+ Proficiency in user-centered design, journey mapping, user flows and usability testing
+ Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
+ A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
+ High proficiency in Figma, wireframing and prototyping
+ High proficiency in Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro)
+ High-proficiency in responsive and mobile-first design
+ Proficiency in ADA Section 508 website requirements
+ Ability to communicate effectively and congenially with project teams, Project Managers, Task Leaders, and Senior Management in a wide variety of fields
+ Exceptional attention to detail
+ Highly proficient at self-management; ability to be nimble in the face of shifting project schedules and delivering high-quality output in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
+ Experience providing rigorous UI/UX analysis of applications
Preferred Qualifications
+ Working knowledge of CSS, Git, HTML5, JavaScript, React, Tailwind, TypeScript, UI Development, and Vue a plus.
+ Experience in leveraging AI tools for UI/UX.

Compensation:
Expected Salary: $110,000-$125,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
