**Overview**
SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (BPSM)
Bowhead is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to join our MCICOM contract in Arlington, VA. The Subject Matter Specialist will be responsible for will assist in providing data, writing technical documents, assist in pricing and reviewing documents for technical accuracy. The Subject Matter Expert must be able to coordinate financial, technical and administrative resources effectively and, at times, with minimal supervision.
**Responsibilities**
+ Senior expert with extensive knowledge and experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles
+ Leads application of analytic techniques and helps define project objectives and strategic direction
+ Responsible for providing leadership and vision to client and project teams around the methodology
+ Resolves complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles
+ Directs the activities of more junior Analysts or other staff as necessary on activities related to the application of analytical techniques and methodologies
+ Demonstrated managerial and supervisory skills.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelors degree and a minimum of five (5) or more years of experience required
+ Experience as PACS/DBIDS BSO with installation and multiple base systems management. Including experience with modifying base profiles; assigning and modifying Force Protection Conditions (FPCON); maintaining access areas, perimeters, and access control points; modifying credential category settings through base profiles and assigning operator roles.
+ Has recent documented knowledge and experience with DoD and USMC installation access control policy, guidance, procedures, and systems.
+ Understands and comprehends the security principles related to access control.
+ Has familiarity with law enforcement operations related to access control.
+ Understands physical and electronic security systems/security requirements.
+ Is knowledgeable about the acquisition process for PACS/DBIDS systems.
+ Is knowledgeable of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) budget and funding process.
+ Has a fundamental understanding of server-based systems integration.
+ Has an understanding of the funding process associated with the project life-cycle cost management principles to include but not limited to inventory management and life cycle replacement of equipment.
+ Understands system from data source-ops employment.
+ Has a working knowledge of computers, PACS/DBIDS, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office software.
+ Has the ability to run required reports; analyze, collate, combine, or extract data to identify patterns, recognize shortfalls, or develop recommended courses of action.
+ Has the ability to track equipment status and conduct trend analysis for action at the installation, regional, and enterprise levels.
+ Can perform basic troubleshooting fundamentals for logical and physical systems.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Job Duties

  • Perform product evaluations for label suppliers to validate performance of label materials and ensure that they understand DNP’s solution set & support their efforts to promote our products
  • Perform competitive ribbon testing & produce reports to identify potential product gaps & competitive advantages
  • Understand market compliance initiatives & work to ensure DNP’s formulations are marketed & sold appropriately
  • Foster relationships with regulatory agencies such as UL & CSA & maintain DNP’s listings
  • Develop & maintain relationships with printer OEMs and update printer database

CHS, Inc. has an exciting opportunity in our Agronomy division in the Pacific Northwest. We are looking for a Technical Product Specialist for providing technical agronomy service and sales support to Account Managers and customers within the assigned geography. Continous communication with regional account managers to determine the product, technical and sales support needs of the sales force is essential. The job will focus on identifying sales support, and data needs to develop selling messages, tools and training. These responsibilities will be focused on efforts to support the marketing direction of branded products.

This role can be located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana.

Responsibilities

  • Assist account managers with building customer confidence and proper positioning of CHS proprietary products.

  • Provide technical information and selling support with a particular emphasis on CHS proprietary products that are applicable within the geography assigned.

  • Participate in and present to customers and coworkers at various meetings throughout the geography assigned.

  • Train personnel to effectively deliver technical information to customers.

  • Coordinate with the research and product analyst to assist with the accumulation of data from appropriate field demonstration trials and replicated research trials and provide the data to the research and product analyst.

  • Evaluate new potential products.

  • Assist marketing personnel with information needs and technical decisions.

  • Assist with the development of technical selling tools for use by personnel including but not limited to presentations, technical bulletins, promo sheets, and the application manual.

  • Act as liaison with private and public university research company or institution personnel to facilitate the testing of new and existing products in coordination with the research and product analyst.

  • Interface with key centers of influence within the assigned geography including commodity groups, University personnel and independent crop consultants to remain on current and future crop production issues.

  • Assist in documentation, investigation, and resolution of customer complaints.

  • Organize, coordinate, and otherwise facilitate topics and speakers relating to one or two-day CCA-CEU meetings that occur across the territory throughout the course of a year.

  • Able to work extended hours as business requires

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Bachelors Degree in agronomy, plant pathology, entomology or weed science

  • 4+ years of experience in agricultural industry with field research, data evaluation skills and technical service background.

Additional Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred in agronomy, plant pathology, entomology or weed science

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Proficient technical writing skills
