4. Formulates the plan of care and establishes the priorities necessary to achieve expected outcome

+ Coordinates the cost-effective use of supplies, equipment and medication to achieve expected outcome;
+ Documents the plan of care and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
5. Implements the plan of care
+ Maintains constant vigilance over patients care to ensure that safety precautions/needs are followed. (Side rails up, call lights and bedside stand within reach, etc.);
+ Exercises professional skills related to the plan of care;
+ Reassesses patients as needed and appropriately revises plan of care;
+ Correctly administers prescribed treatments;
+ Correctly uses equipment necessary for patient care;
+ Provides emotional support to patient and significant other;
+ Applies scientific principles in performing procedures; carries them out safely, timely and efficiently;
+ Makes accurate observations of patient's conditions during treatments/procedures. Reports and records same as appropriate;

+ Acts rapidly and effectively during any emergency situation, managing self, patients and other employees;
+ Provides a calm, quiet, restful atmosphere. Communicates effectively with the patient's family or caretakers;
+ Participates in planning for discharge and coordinates referrals, as appropriate;
+ Provides discharge instructions to patient and significant other.
6. Evaluates care provided for patient outcome
+ Demonstrates ability to measure effectiveness of care provided and documents same;
+ Performs variance analysis related to outcome data for performance improvement;
+ Designs, implements, and evaluates systems to improve care in Unit;
+ Keeps accurate documentation of patient's treatment, activity and condition;
+ Uses appropriate methods of documentation according to departmental policy.
7. Collaborates with other care team members in planning and carrying out treatment regimen; provides direction to other members of the care team
+ Collaborates with the appropriate physician on patient's plan of care;
+ Accurately interprets and implements treatment regimen as prescribed by the Physician;
+ Assists the Physician during treatments and/or diagnostic procedures;
+ Keeps the Patient Care Manager/designee and/or physician, abreast of changes in patient's condition and/or treatments, as appropriate;
+ Uses clinical judgment in delegating assignments to the Patient Care Associate, Support Care Associate and Clerical Service Associate in providing patient care, and ensures that assignments are completed in a timely fashion.
8. Performs grade I-IV Decubitus Care
+ Performs preventive skin care measures
+ Applies simple dressings, maintaining principles of aseptic technique;
+ Applies warm & cold compresses, consistent with facility procedure;
+ Performs irrigations, consistent with Facility procedure;
+ Performs other procedures related to skin care, as necessary.
9. Administers medications correctly and safely
+ Correctly identifies medication: action; dosage; side effects and implications for the patient;
+ Meets standard on medication administration examination;
+ Demonstrates preparation of local solutions;
+ Demonstrates preparation of I.V. drips;
+ Administers and documents medication correctly;
+ Administers IVP medication as per department policy and procedure;
+ Educates patients and significant others related to drug and food interactions.
10. Participates in patient and family education
+ Provides the patient with an explanation of his/her condition as indicated;
+ Communicates assessment data in an orderly fashion by recording, updating and verbalizing pertinent information to care team members and to appropriate agencies;
+ Recognizes and utilizes health teaching opportunities and resources /materials available for this teaching;
+ Provides for early discharge planning and appropriate referrals for post-hospital care;
+ Evaluates the effectiveness of teaching by feedback from patient/family and documents same.
11. Performs related duties, as required.
Qualifications:
* Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Associate's Degree in Nursing, required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
* Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.
* Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, required.
* BLS/ACLS/PALS required, plus specialized certifications as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Federal Contracts : Oversee day-to-day operations of federal interpreting contracts, ensuring interpreters are sourced, vetted, trained, and scheduled to meet agency requirements while maintaining compliance with federal guidelines.

The Recruiter 3 is primarily responsible for overseeing the recruiting and vetting process for new clinical candidates. The incumbent in this role focuses on the VIP customer experience and serves as a driver of business outcomes through best in class recruiting strategy and execution. He/She serves as a strategic advisor to our internal customers and executive leadership across the ChenMed family of companies in the creation and execution of dynamic recruiting strategies.
**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Executes full lifecycle recruiting which includes developing search, sourcing and interview strategies. Seeks passive and active (semi-active) leads through online marketplaces/channels like, but not limited to: selective job boards, social media channels, internet searches, LinkedIn, Google and other search channels. Connects with qualified candidates, evaluates credentials, conducts in-depth candidate interviews and presents dossiers of recommended candidates to hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
+ Drives an effective and efficient talent strategy in support of the business. Absorbs the business model and recruitment strategy to deliver exceptional recruiting outcomes.
+ Collaborates with Clinical Leaders to design and execute integrated Physician talent strategies.
+ Maintains and suggests innovative recruitment tools, technologies and best practices. Leverages data and analytics to develop recruiting strategies and influence business outcomes.
+ Assists divisional clinical recruitment leaders in identifying and leveraging opportunities that impact quality, cost and speed of service delivery.
+ Educates internal clients on physician recruiting best practices and labor market dynamics. Utilizes research and competitive intelligence (including but not limited to local market intelligence on offers, supply and demand, etc.)
+ Networks and builds a robust and continuous talent pipeline, attracts and assesses highly skilled and credentialed professionals to join ChenMed.
+ Builds trusted and influential advisor relationships with clinical leaders and center clinicians through consistent and continuous consultation on critical clinical talent gaps.
+ Nurtures long standing candidate relationships and executes a high-level, white glove support recruitment experience for the candidate. Serves as the primary negotiator and closer with selected candidates.
+ Partners with clinical leadership and other COEs, including, but not limited to: Total Rewards, Marketing, Talent Acquisition and Legal to ensure ChenMed is able to attract, motivate and retain the best talent.
+ Maintains valuable knowledge of recruiting trends and best practices impacting the market he/she supports. Establishes relationships with local community experts (including, but not limited to realtors, schools, special needs vendors, etc.)
+ Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.

+ Knowledge of web-based candidate tracking system management and reporting; familiarity with multiple candidate-sourcing websites and tools
+ Keen understanding of legal issues that impact physician recruiting activities, namely restrictive covenants
+ Strong negotiation skills and physician compensation knowledge
+ Strong technical skills and strong people skills with a meticulous personality
+ Superb organizational and follow-up skills; ability to prioritize and process a high volume of work while maintaining the highest quality
+ Skillful at building core relationships, establishing credibility and as an influential communicator

+ Ability to travel to conferences representing the company while gathering leads for recruitment purposes
+ Ability to join virtual and in-person clinical job fairs as needed
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the position
+ Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 25% of the time; flexible to work after-hours and weekends as needed
+ Spoken and written fluency in English
+ This job requires use and exercise of sound independent judgment and discretion
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:**
+ BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a related field required **OR** additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
+ A minimum of 10 years' overall work experience as a recruiter required
+ A minimum of 5 years' as a physician recruiter strongly desired
+ Certified Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP) certification preferred
+ Experience with Workday and/or Phenom People a strong plus
+ Experience in both a corporate environment and search firm experienced preferred

The NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT Registered Nurse (RN) is a healthcare provider, who through education and experience, possesses a distinct body of knowledge and skills relative to the care of the neonatal patient who is experiencing life-threatening conditions requiring complex clinical assessment, technologically intense therapies, and interventions. He/she applies specialized nursing knowledge in assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient response to complex conditions, therapies and interventions. He/she initiates nursing care, health teaching, and health counseling that supports life and restores well-being in an age appropriate manner. Nursing care is performed in accordance with the nurse practice act and under the direction and supervision of the appropriate client representative(s) on the assigned Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.

LICENSURE

Current and unrestricted RN nursing license in the state of practice.

EXPERIENCE

One year of experience as an RN in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the last two years.

CREDENTIALS

Current CPR at least to the NALS/NRP level; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Various client facility settings; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.

REPRESENTATIVE DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complies with ATC policies/procedures.
  • Complies with client facility nursing policies/procedures.
  • Conducts individualized patient assessment, prioritizing collection of data based on individual needs, condition, and developmental age of the neonatal patient.
  • Conducts ongoing, age appropriate nursing assessment as dictated by the patient’s condition and in accordance with client facility protocols.
  • Collaborates with other team members in the development, implementation, and evaluation of an individualized plan of care.
  • Performs treatments and therapies as ordered by physician in an appropriate and timely fashion.
  • Performs hemodynamic monitoring as ordered by physician in an appropriate manner.
  • Provides individualized patient and family teaching that considers developmental age.
  • Documents patient assessments, findings, and psychosocial responses to nursing interventions.
  • Initiates emergency measures according to neonatal and facility advanced resuscitation protocols.
  • Maintains confidentiality related to patient, family, facility, and staff in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved.
  • Reports patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift as dictated by individualized patient assessment.
  • Maintains competency in neonatal critical care nursing by participating in continuing education programs and meets state specific requirements.
  • Complies with accepted ethical conduct and professional standards of nursing practice as set forth by the American Nurses Association or equivalent national organization.
  • Demonstrates ability to delegate effectively and appropriately.
