We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Analyst to join an Enterprise Finance and Risk Technology organization. The client is a Global Systemically Important Bank (G-SIB) undergoing a multi-year, large-scale modernization of its financial platforms. Sponsored by the CFO, this initiative aims to upgrade the finance technology stack, streamline processes, and implement best-in-class technologies.

The program involves complex challenges due to vast data sets and a diverse legacy technology stack built over more than 20 years.

Technology Stack Highlights:

As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with business partners, solution architects, and technology teams. Youll analyze current processes and systems, assess business models and their integration with technology, and work closely with stakeholders to capture and refine requirements. Youll be part of an Agile Scrum team, partnering with the Product Owner to evaluate features, write user stories, document business rules, and support Engineering in reviewing technical designs, identifying enablers, and managing dependencies.

- Experience building or managing financial technology products and programs, especially large scale transformations migrating data from legacy systems
- Familiarity with SQL, Java, Java frameworks, JavaScript, Angular, or React

• Conduct detailed discovery and analysis of existing financial/accounting technologies and processes and identify areas for process improvement that align with current ERP financial management systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define ERP requirements for financial management modernization
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and design activities with stakeholders for the following functional areas: General Ledger Accounting and sub-ledger accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Management, Inventory Management, Revenue Expenditure Accounting, Project and Grants Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Procurement, Treasury and Cash Management)
• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and blockers of existing financial/accounting processes

The analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and support of Oracle PeopleSoft applications as well as designing, implementing and testing customizations, special projects and upgrades. Annual base salary for the position is expected to be from $115,000 per year to $135,000 per year. The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions. This position also provides applicable employee benefits, as well as eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
