Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Contract Lifecycle Management.
- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in system implementation and customization, preferably with CLM products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Modernization Business Analyst with a strong background in financial management and/or accounting to join a high profile, complex financial modernization project. The successful Financial Management Modernization Business Analyst will be a key project team member and will be responsible for conducting detailed discovery of the client's existing financial management technologies and processes and analyzing and documenting requirements for the client's future financial system modernization. This role requires familiarity with AT LEAST one of the common financial management/accounting functional areas (General Ledger Accounting and sub-ledger accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Management, Inventory Management, Project and Grants Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Procurement, Treasury and Cash Management). Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed discovery and analysis of existing financial/accounting technologies and processes and identify areas for process improvement that align with current ERP financial management systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define ERP requirements for financial management modernization
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and design activities with stakeholders for the following functional areas: General Ledger Accounting and sub-ledger accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Management, Inventory Management, Revenue Expenditure Accounting, Project and Grants Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Procurement, Treasury and Cash Management)

- THREE (3)+ years' experience in a business analyst role or performing requirements gathering functions, including for financial management/ERP modernization.
- Experience in the initial phases of ERP discovery and implementation

Qualifications for the role

- Proven knowledge of inquiry-to-order and post-sale service business processes.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and project execution frameworks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, as an empower Business Functional Analyst, you will be a member of the Commercial Processes and Tools for Business Enablement Agile Unit, specifically in the Buying Opportunities and e-Commerce Ecosystem for NAM Agile Team, which ensures EL wide common tools and experiences in the empower space from opportunity to remittance & post sales service for all North America external and internal customers. You will lead projects for the development of global opportunity to remittance & post sale service web-based tools.
You will be responsible for coordinating all opportunities to remittance and post-sale service tool development efforts between the respective functions involved in the opportunity to remittance process, including: Marketing & Sales, Global Product Management, IT, Supply Chain and Finance across the Electrification Business Units.
You will be responsible for defining and documenting functional user stories, including: business and business process rules, user experience, output documentation, process improvements, and downstream system integration needs. In addition, you will be managing timelines, resources, and owning story execution.
The work model for the role is: #LI - Remote
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division in the US.
You will be mainly accountable to:
- Uncover, analyze, and prioritize business needs, translating them into implementation stories with clear development plans and testable acceptance criteria in close collaboration with business users and the development team.
- Collaborate with developers and IS project managers to estimate and track effort, capacity, and velocity across releases, while actively contributing to an Agile, cross-functional team environment.
- Develop deep expertise in the application landscape and business needs to proactively address changes, serving as the SME to support operations and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Design and execute test plans to ensure desired functionality and quality of product configuration tools; provide training and guidance to users.
- Take an active role in creating and presenting innovative solutions to our Business users and Partners; manage timelines, resources, and overall project execution; report out and provide project updates to key stakeholders.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quotation, application, project management, or product development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the electrical distribution industry.
- Proven knowledge of inquiry-to-order and post-sale service business processes.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and project execution frameworks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
