XLA is looking to add a Functional Analyst to the team.
Candidate must have prior experience with Momentum Experience (UFMS) and FIRST.
Position is onsite in Arlington, VA
Salary: $88k per year
General Experience: Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Federal financial systems. Minimum of 1 year experience working with CGI Momentum Software Suite.
Functional Responsibility:
- Tier 2 Helpdesk analyst for financial systems applications -troubleshooting of user issues, communicating resolutions
- Provides specialized support/expertise in Momentum Financials subsystems including the areas of Vendor Management, Security/user access, and/or G-invoicing
- Performs system and regression testing for financial systems. Develops and executes test plans and scripts
- Updates appropriate system documentation (e.g., end-user, functional, technical) as required to maintain the financial system
- Systems analyst for custom financial application enhancements (requirements analysis, working with customers and developers, testing)
Minimum Experience/Education/Certification/Certification :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or Accounting from an accredited college / university OR commensurate experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Analyst for a contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ / Raleigh, NC / Dallas, TX(Remote). This role involves testing third-party and internal systems, analyzing requirements, and ensuring quality in financial domain applications.
Rate Range: $41/hour to 45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Functional Analyst job responsibilities include:
- Perform manual and some automation testing of third-party and internally developed systems to ensure functionality and quality.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to design effective test cases and identify gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to communicate testing outcomes, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment.
- Utilize tools like JIRA and ServiceNow for tracking issues, managing test cycles, and documenting results.
- Maintain strong quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring thorough validation of deliverables.
- Work independently within a fast-paced environment, adhering to location requirements and contributing to process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in functional testing, with strong manual testing skills and some exposure to automation.
- Experience in the banking or finance domain, preferably with mortgage origination and servicing.
- Strong familiarity with JIRA and ServiceNow, and ability to communicate effectively with IT and business teams.
Pay Details: $1.00 to 45.00 per hour
