Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a contract with a client in Austin, TX. This role involves gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and supporting post-go-live activities in a high-tech or software industry environment.

Rate Range: $55/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Functional Consultant job responsibilities include:

  • Lead the design and configuration of SAP FI modules to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with financial processes and compliance standards.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and detailed solution designs.
  • Manage full-cycle SAP FI implementations, including testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate transport activities and ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules.
  • Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO and FI-CA issues, ensuring timely resolution and system stability.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and documentation, effectively communicating solutions and project updates to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CA preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of SAP FICO experience, including 2-3 full-cycle implementations.
  • Strong expertise in SAP FI and FI-CA modules with hands-on configuration and support experience.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Pay Details: $5.00 to 60.00 per hour
