Create monthly thank you letter templates (club, special and non-special) for straight, memorial honorarium, monthly (both with and without tribute information), and non-monetary donations for gift processors to use each day.
Manage 500 and President's Club giving club memberships in Raiser's Edge; add, maintain and update club membership information in Raiser's Edge; request giving club gifts for new and existing members as necessary; ensure members receive the appropriate date tabs when gifts are received; and work with Donations Processing Manager and Development Officer to send club gifts to members.
Monitor daily donations and notify the Vice President, Development of any gifts requiring further attention and/or personalized acknowledgments. Create and process daily major donor correspondence for high profile contributions, hospital relationships/connections and/or reasons for giving; and ensure all relevant Scottish Rite for Children Development department written communication embodies the culture of the hospital by being personalized, accurate and of the highest level of quality.
Manage pending special letter list; maintain the list by adding and removing donor names in a timely and accurate manner each day, as applicable; and follow up with appropriate personnel when letters are on the list longer than the 24- to 48-hour turnaround time goal.
Interact daily with VP, Development regarding Special Letters.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
3-5 years of comprehensive reading, proofing, and writing experience.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet research.
Prefer Raiser's Edge Database experience.
Typing speed of 60+ wpm.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet deadlines.
