  • Plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals, leveraging digital and traditional channels to maximize reach and impact.
  • Supervise and mentor fundraising staff or volunteers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to build a high-performing team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the CRM database, ensuring data integrity and facilitating effective donor segmentation and communication.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop compelling fundraising collateral, storytelling content, and donor recognition materials.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, conducting prospect research to expand the donor base and cultivate new relationships.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and analyses on fundraising performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and manage the annual fundraising budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all fundraising regulations, ethical guidelines, and donor privacy policies.
  • Engage the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders in fundraising activities and donor cultivation efforts.
  • Organize and host donor appreciation events and recognition programs.
  • Stay informed about fundraising trends, philanthropic landscape changes, and best practices in the non-profit sector.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, community gatherings, and conferences to promote its mission and attract support.
  • Develop stewardship plans to ensure donors feel valued and informed about the impact of their contributions.
  • Assist in the development of compelling case statements and impact reports.
  • Foster a culture of philanthropy within the organization.
  • Manage volunteer engagement in fundraising activities.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning process of the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Non-profit Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in fundraising and development, with a proven track record of securing significant gifts from various donor segments.
  • Demonstrated success in major gift cultivation, grant writing, and campaign management.
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, donor cultivation cycles, and stewardship best practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate mission and impact persuasively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) and fundraising analytics tools.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff and volunteers.
  • Knowledge of charitable giving regulations and ethical standards.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for events.
  • A deep passion for the organization's mission and values.
  • CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) credential is a plus.
